Philadelphia Trades Andre Iguadola(15.3 million over 3 years, final year is a player option) and the 15th pick in the 2012 Draft

Houston Trades Sam Dalembert(2 years 14 million dollars per, Pattrick Patterson 3 years at an average of 2 million per season) , plus the 14th and 16th picks in the 2012 Draft…

The Rockets get an All Star Sf in Iguadola and still have the 15th and 18th picks in the Draft to add a Pg and C(Marshall/Wroten Jr or Teague at Pg – Leonard, Zeller or Melo at C) They’d likely have to settle for Wroten Jr. and Melo, 2 boom or bust players they’d have time to deveolp

Starting Line up- Lowry or Dragic-Martin-Iguadola-Scola and Veteran C(Camby?) or the r   ookie Fab Melo(18th pick)

Marshall/Teugue or Wrotens Jr. (Backup Pg 15th)

    Courtney Lee (Backup Sg)

    Chandler Parsons-Marcus Morris(potential starters, backup Sf/Pf)

    Donatas Montiejunas(project Pf, backup Pf/C)

Greg Smith and Fab Melo(project C, backup C)

The Sixers get a young Power Foward on his rookie deal in Patterson, they move up one spot to assure themselves a Sg/Sf they like (Ross or Harkless) and they also can take another Bigman like Pj III or Arnett Moultrie with the 16th pick…They simply buyout Sam Dalembert before July 1st and use the money saved to resign free agent Spencer Hawes or make a run at Javale Mcgee(RFA)…On the surface it’s a Salary Dump as we trade Iggy and the 15th pick for Patterson and the 14th and 16th picks…clearing Iguadola this year and Brand next season gives the Team Max Cap space to lock up their young core and Add a potential Game Changer in Free Agency in the Summer of 2013…

The Rockets get Iggy and the 15th pick for Pat Patterson and the sandwich picks at 14 and 16…Who says No???

For Houston it’s Dwight or bust…..or Andre Drummond.

They get Iggy and The 15th Pick by making this move, they still have the 18th pick and Lowry/Martin/Scola to offer in a trade…

look at the Rockets pieces after this

    Pg-Lowry and Dragic(RFA)

    Sg-Martin and Courtney Lee(RFA)

Sf-Iguadola, Chandler Parsons and Marcus Morris

    Pf-Scola and Moniejunas

C- Marcus Camby??? Another Free Agent???

    2 Draft Picks…The 15th or 18th picks respectively…

They’d have more then enough trade assets to make a play for Dwight Howard or any other player they’d like IMO (Deron Williams, Pau Gasol or Rudy Gay???)

I mean yea, but Orlando would rather have 2 top 10 picks and just start all over.

Houston says no.  Houston is either going to somehow get Dwight, second option i heard is Josh Smith, and then Drummond thats their plan. Bigmens is want they want and need not another G/F.

What Am I missing in that statement…

    Houston has the 14th, 16th and 18th picks in the draft…That’s not 2 Top 10 picks…

The Only Team with 2 top 10 picks is New Orleans…

People keep posting that Dwight Howard rumor like it’s a fore gone conclusion…

Houston would have to actually pull off a Lowry plus picks for a Top 10 pick just to make this a possibility…

They would then have Trade what ever pieces they have plus the aquired pick just entice Orlando who has their own Top 20 pick and DWIGHT HOWARD!!!

People just assume The Kings value Lowry that much…When they could draft Damien Lilliard 5th overall and keep Tyreke Evans on their roster for another year and/or trade him at the deadline…They are not in Cap Hell and could sign any Pf they want…

The Rockets don’t have the pieces yet to asuume they are the lead for Dwight Howard…

Lowry, Dalembert and the 3 picks isn’t gonna cut it…Martin/Scola plus all 3 picks won’t cut it either although it’s a ton to give up for a 1 year rental….

Orlando hasn’t even began fielding Offers for Howard yet to all our knowledge…They still have the best chances to Sign him because they can give him a Real Max Contract and Big Market(although many would scoff at that statement)

Houston has zero reason to do this.  They’re aiming for Dwight and seem to be making a really good play at it.

Lowry and #16 to Toronto for their #8 pick and then 14 and 18 to Sac for their #5 pick, if they can’t get the 1st part then they will trade Lowry and two of the picks to sack for Tyreke and #5 to get Drummons then use the other to draft BPA.
