i’ve heard the rumors about Evans possibly being moved. I wonder if you think orlando would be a good change for him? I’m looking at the roster and i really dont like the depth and quality of guards Reddick imo is their best guard Nelson i believe opted out of his contract. I could see it working his strength is his ability to drive to the basket but i could see him dishing it to anderson or reddick for a three or lobbing a pass to howard once he gets inside.

He would be a good fit being Howard’s side kick. Not sure what pieces they have to offer for him tho.

Depends on what kind of system their new coach will run, if its an up-tempo style than yeas but if its a half court system where he would have to move without the ball than no

I think he would be a great fit in Orlando, but the Magic do not have the pieces to trade for him.

Good luck trading for him with absolutely no tradeable assets that the kings would want

     Stoudamire,fields, Douglas, gadzuric, 3 mil.

    For

Evans, whiteside, greene and a second round pick

Whiteside would learn the position from chandler. Evans would be perfect playing with melo. A pass first sg who could also play point.

Cousins would play with stoudamire. Vicious interior. Fields would be a good glue guy. Their first round pick will be a star. Isaiah Thomas, Thornton, freddette, Salmons, and Douglass would be deadly.

Tyreke Evans and Carmelo Anthony on the same squad just sounds like disaster from the start. Throw in Jeremy Lin wanting to get his shots and sharing the backcourt with Evans that would be pretty eratic yet entertaining to watch.

What about if Orlando moves Howard and in return get Tyreke as a new franchise player to build around, and in the end the team would look like the Denver squad (lots of depth, team ball, no big stars). I know this isn’t a truley realistic trade idea, but I don’t think it’s overlly flawed, but even a fair trade idea has like a 1 in a million chance of happening. So here it is:

SAC trades Evans and the 5th pick, receive Lowry, Patterson, and 16th pick, draft Terrence Ross and Drew Gordon, and have a depth chart of Lowry(Thomas), Thornton(Fredette/Garcia), Salmons(Ross/Honeycutt), Patterson(Outlaw/Gordon), Cousins(Hayes/Whiteside).

ORL trades Howard, Turkoglu, and Duhon, receive Martin, Evans, Dalembert, Morris, 5th pick, and 14th pick, draft Drummond, Harkless, Teague, and Plumlee, and have a depth chart of Evans(Teague), Martin(Redick/Wafer), J.Richardson(Harkless/Q.Richardson), Davis(Morris/Clark), Dalembert(Drummond/Plumlee)

HOU trades Lowry, Martin, Patterson, Dalembert, Morris, 14th pick, and 16th pick, receive Howard, Turkoglu, and Duhon, sign Nash (looking for a ring and I don’t think he will ask for a high price), Ray Allen (Boston won’t need him anymore, still wants a ring, and won’t ask for much to play with the guys on this team), and Yi Jianlian (Houston has a lot of Chinese viewers and jump shooting power forwards have always done good next to Howard), and have a depth chart of Nash(Duhon), Allen(Budinger), Turkoglu(Parsons), Scola(Jianlian), Howard(Smith)

I don’t find this trade bad for anybody. Sacramento gets rid of Tyreke who hasn’t been working and adds hardworking young veterans in Lowry and Patterson. They also drop down in the draft a bit, but its a deep draft and they get a more experienced draftee, which is good because this team is young enough. Orlando finally gets rid of the Howard drama and get a potential star player back in Evans. They also receive a replacement for Howard in Drummond who can be taught by Dalembert. Harkless also has that potential to be a star and could end up starting on this team. Evans should do well as he is surrounded by shooters (Martin, Redick, Richardsons) which Sacramento never had. Houston finally gets a center, and why not get the best. They have been a bubble playoff team for too long and was just piling up adequate players. There bench may be depleted, but I think free agents will like to sign here when they see the core this team will have.

I know it won’t happen, but is there anything terribly wrong with this trade?

    H
