Notes
- Reggie Rankin (ESPN Recruiting) wrote about Tony Mitchell, Deshaun Thomas, Trey Burke and Doug McDermott all being standouts for the college players: http://espn.go.com/blog/collegebasketballnation/post/_/id/60444/four-standouts-from-chicago-skills-camps
- Andrew Harrison measured 6’5 (in shoes) with a 6’8 wing span. Aaron Harrison was not there, but my guess is he goes to the Kevin Durant Skills Academy
- Kasey Hill, thought of to be Harrison’s main challenger for top PG in the class of 2013, was measured at 6’1 with a 6’5 wing span
- Trey Burke of Michigan, who was incredibly close to entering this years draft, measured at 6’0 with a 6’5 wing span. BJ Young had solid measurements at 6’3 with a 6’7.5 wing span
- Mamadou Ndiaye is a pretty damn intriguing prospect. He seems incredibly raw, but man is he huge. He measured in at 7’4 with an 8’1 wing span! That would be about 4 inches longer than the highest listed NBA Draft combine measurement. It is unknown as to whether the Senegalese import has pituitary issues (large possibility), just that he is long enough to be on a lot of college radars.
- Marcus Lee, seen as one of the up and coming 2013 PF/C prospects, measured at 6’10 with a 7’1.5 wing span. He is currently listed at #5 in the 2013 HS class by NBADraft.net
- Cliff Alexander, seen as the standout of the 2012 Pangos All-American camp, measured 6’8 with a 7’2 wing span.
- Jimmie Taylor, an Alabama commit who is seen as a top 2013 center prospect, came in at 6’9.5 with a huge 7’5.5 wing span.
- Reggie Johnson of Miami measured in at 6’9 with a 7’1.5 wing span, plus 329 pounds (45 pounds above his listed weight at ESPN)
- CJ Leslie of NC State was 6’8.5 with a 7’1.5 wing span, while North Texas’ Tony Mitchell was 6’8.5 with a 7’3 wing span.
- The Duke guys never seem to crush the wing span department, lol. Still, they were tall. Ryan Kelly was 6’11/6’11 while Mason Plumlee measured taller than his wing span at 6’11.5/6’10.

SpacegrassParticipantMamadou N’Diaye at 7’4 297lbs with 8’1 wingspan , has anyone seen him play because if he is just a solid athlete and can rebound and defend that dude has top 10 pick or higher written all over him. Anybody know anything about him?

McDunkinLike I said before the Plumlees and Zellers never have great wingspans

sammybuckeye13ParticipantWith that wingspan N’Diaye he deserves his own exhibit in the Smithsonian next to the Pterodactyl.
Seriously, though, I see that he averaged 24 points, 13.9 boards and 5 blocks last season. He might be able to just drop the ball in the hoop and rebound and block shots without jumping but that doesn’t seem to be the case. At least he apparently has the will to exercise potential. Who knows if and how it’ll come together against much bigger and athletic opponents but still, pretty scary. He previously attended the same high school as Enes Kanter, so it’s looking like he’s making all the right moves.
CJ Leslie and Tony Mitchell both measured very well and should compete hard with McAdoo, Polythress for the title of best combo forward in next year’s draft.

seniokasParticipantDamn, CJ Leslie is light, only 198 lbs, I’m 6’3 and still pretty skinny but 202 lbs. Although, CJ is big time athlete and has improved a lot during his two years in college, he has to get some weight. He is strictly a 4, not a 3, must hit the gym harder than ever.

Lebron’s HairlineParticipantI’ve seen film of n’diaye this guy is basically nothing but height he is extremely raw he averaged all of those points off of put backdunks or his teammates will throw him a alley oop that he didn’t have to jump for cause he’s so tall, he has a ton of potential though

benjo34Cliff Alexander could be a beast he is 6-8.240 and he is like 15-16 years old..by the end of high school he could be 6-11,i see him like Andre Drummond with good motor

tli232They listed him at 5’9 at the beginning of the year, I’m pretty sure. Has he really grown 3 inches during University? That’d be pretty impressive.
