     Not sure which team would make the move, if it would work financially, or anything like that, but just wondering what you guys think on that? I’d love to see Monta and the Bucks make that move or have the Bobcats start fresh.

       I see where you’re coming from but don’t necessarily agree with Las Vegas or Vancouver.

      I’m sure the there were many critics when the Grizzlies decided to move to Memphis. And I just don’t really see Las Vegas having much of a fanbase. I just feel like the city doesn’t really care about sports (although that isn’t true I’m sure).

     alabama is a football state without a pro team there is no way in the world that th enba would allow a team to go to birmingham if the nfl (which football in the south is like jesus ecspecially in alabama) havent even thought of it youd be looking at an uglier move than new orleans which obv hasnt panned out

    The Vegas thing is iffy because of legalized sports gambling in the state of Nevada. Most sports do not want to be associated with gambling in any form. I think another good sports city with no NBA is Pittscurgh.

     I actually live and was raised in Birmingham.  The problem with an NBA team being here is not the demographic NBA viewers, there are tons of Grizzles and Hawks, Miami (bandwagoners), fans in the city. The problem is the piss poor economic state the city is in.  It is dirty, dangerous, and there in no hope in sight.  We had 6 Fortune 500 companies headquartered here a mere 10 years ago now only one, Regions, no. 343, is here.  The city won’t allow for growth and we have no faciltiies. The BJCC is a dump and parking is a nightmare, you essentially park in the projects.  I would love for an NBA team to come here, but it will not happen.  We also made a plan for the 2020 Olympics, seriously?

    Seattle, Kansas City, Vancouver, San Diego, Anahiem, Baltimore, Pittsburgh, St Louis, New Jersey, Tampa Bay, Nashville, Jacksonville, San Jose, Cincinati, Montreal, Columbus, Louisville, Hampton Roads/Virginia Beach… All of these are just as good or significantly better markets for NBA teams, somehow i think Birmingham is closer to the bottom than the top of the list
