lakeshow22ParticipantWhich if any of these PG will reach Rose or Westbrooks Skill level. Rank these Point Guards on who has the Most Potential and who you see being the best 5 years from now. This is not my order.
Damian Lillard
Brandon Knight
Kemba Walker
Stephen Curry
Brandon Jennings
John Wall
Kyrie Irving
Ricky Rubio
Also Who will be the best Scorer from this Group in 5 years?

HaleParticipantThe best in 5 years: Irving, Rubio/Wall, Curry, Jennings, Knight, Walker. Not doing Lillard because it all depends on his team.
Irving is the most complete. Rubio is an excellent defender and is the kind of guy who elevates his teammates play the most, while Wall is obviously the athletic specimen and has the most potential. The best scorer in 5 years will probably be Irving, with a possibility of Wall or Curry.

JustaFanParticipantI’m going:
1.Kyrie, 2.Wall, 3.Rubio, 4.Steph, 5.Knight, 6.Jennings, 7.Kemba, then 8.Lillard.
I think Kyrie and Wall have the potential to reach the level of Rose and Westbrook. Rubio will be on the level but in more of a pass first Nash mode with better defensive numbers. Kyrie already is and will be the most potent offensive weapon of the bunch. Super smooth, can score from anywhere and he’s clutch. I can see all of them being really good players in the future if nothing else. I can see a few of them in the Top 10 in steals and assists.

juslistinParticipantKyrie Irving will be joining the elite poing guard list, because he can do anything that is asked of him. Coming close would be Rubio, that’s if he can improve his offensive scoring ability, but he is the best pure point guard based solely on his passing. John Wall has the making of becoming the next most explosive point guard, but has to become more consistent and his sophmore year was not too impressive not showing the improvement expected out of him. Although I love Brandon Jennings, he shoots poorly and takes too many shots, he’s a high volume shooter and as a point guard you don’t want that.
Top 3
1) Kyrie Irving
2) Ricky Rubio
3) John Wall

draft2017Participantin my eyes john wall still has more potential then kyrie, you cant teach that athleticism, but kyrie’s understanding of the game at that young age is tremendous

TMoney617Participant1. Kyrie Irving
2. John Wall (If he reaches his potential he could fight for #1 spot)
3. Rubio (could be the only one on this list averaging 10 apg.)
4. Stephen Curry
5. Brandon Jennings
6. Damian Lillard (hard to project without seing him in NBA action)
7. Brandon Knight
8. Kemba

FastAndFuriousParticipantIn 5 years, Gotta go with John Wall, he can pass is 6’4 dumb athletic and his speed is a game changer alone, Irving is pretty good as well, but Wall’s ceiling his higher…if he can reach it.

The first three are so close, it probably depends upon team fit as much as anything.

PulseGlazerParticipantAs amazing as Wall is athletically, this feels like a Deron – Paul situation where the other guy is just a bit better… the other guy being Kyrie. Irving has an elite shot, is an elite finishers, has a knack for the big moment, and has an amazing feel for the game.
