Eron Gordon, Eric Gordon’s brother, is already at the height of 6"1′ and in the eighth grade has already attracted attention from Indiana University. He also is attracting Michigan, Michigan State, Ohio State, Xavier, and Wisconsin.

I wonder he is will be taller and have the same athleticism.  I am pretty sure he shooting should be better or about the same as his brothers.

Mr. Gordon is probably about 6′ 2". I was actually shocked when EJ got as tall as he did because he was a little guy for the longest. I came back home during the summer one year and he’d just shot up. I wonder if lil Eron will have that same type of growth spurt. Regardless, I don’t think he’ll get any taller than 6′ 3" or so. The middle brother Evan is like 6′ 1" I think.

The good thing is that I think he’s a better ball handler than EJ was at the same stage, so he’ll probably have more combo guard ability. I don’t think he’s as athletic as EJ was at the same stage though, but he’s very athletic. He’s got that same build and strength as EJ did. He’s got the same mentality to just score, score, score. And also like EJ, he’s pretty much played up a grade or two during AAU for the last couple of summers and held his own easily.

Overall, he reminds me a lot of EJ. Same work ethic. He plays with a little more swagger in my opinion. He needs to tweak his shooting mechanics, but so did EJ somewhat at the same stage. He’s going to be great… No doubt about that.

He def. has the jumpshot already to go along with solid height and great athleticism for an 8th grader. I think he could be as athletic as Eric eventually, because he’s already tall and people who are that tall as 8th graders are awkward and just not that athletic usually because they’re still growing into their bodies. If you watch lebron’s middle school through sophomore year highlights he didn’t have incredible explosiveness vertically, but by the time he had grown into his body as a junior he could get his head above the rim. So by the time Eron’s a junior he could be the full package with tht athleticism and the shot and skills.
