aadParticipantI see a lot of mocks have him going to the pistons but how would he fit with them and would he and monroe be a good front court

JNixonParticipantThey would be soft defensively a little, even though Monroe is better than advertised on D.

JunkYardDogParticipantI’d rather see henson next to monroe… more complementary.
But zeller should turn into a nice / effective role player.

FUNKYBUNCHParticipantHe’s more of the 3rd frontcourt player in a rotation. They can get someone that has a chance to start.

PlatypusParticipantHorrible fit, they need a shot blocker and a rebounder. Henson makes the most sence, he just needs to hit the weight room.

JunkYardDogParticipantthat’s exactly how I feel he should develop : 3th man of the frontcourt rotation, 50% center 50% pf.
whereas henson could become a nice defensive starter as a full time pf.
I really don’t manage to see what we can expect from sullinger : I think he could be a good pick for detroit too in a completely different register. He could took some pressure off monroe’s shoulder and form an interesting frontcourt (à la gasol / randolph).

MJBrownParticipantThe pistons are so far away and lack star power. They’ve got some nice pieces the last couple of years and I suspect they’ll go with the best 3,4, or 5 available. I have Terrence Jones going ninth right now. I think he’s got more potential than Zeller and drafting Sullinger makes Monroe a bit redundant. Henson might not be a bad fit, but I think nine is a bit early for him as his offensive game is going to be very limited in the NBA. I have Henson going to Philly at 15

fliptonnParticipantIt might work in terms of basketball but I don’t see Zeller liking the city of Detroit very much.

sheltwon3ParticipantI think Henson is a better fit for Detroit because he would work better with Monroe. I like Sullinger but he needs to play with an athletic long player because of how his game is and his weaknesses. I think if he does well in workouts Sullinger would be good for New Orleans is they don’t get T Rob.

Killer_kat12345ParticipantI honestly see Zeller having a career very similar to that of Nick Collison… I hate comparisons of racial proportions, but they both fit best in that 1st big off the bench role, who is able to cover both the 4 and 5 positions.

Malik-UniversalParticipantdont think zeller will be all that good in the pros….
i much rather see a guy like henson next to monroe easily

omphalosParticipantI think his skill-set would be redundant in Detroit; Monroe is the skilled low-block man in Motor City, adding Zeller wouldn’t help them at all.
I agree that Henson or even Meyers Leonard would be a better fit than Zeller.
