OldSkoolBasketballParticipantI don’t know if this was Spoelstra’s idea to have Wade have the ball in the last plays but it should be Lebron. Its frustrating to see him just standing in one spot being a "decoy" while Wade takes the last shot. Give Lebron the ball. Lebron doesn’t even need to take the winning shot but he is able to create open shots for his teammates.

mikeyvthedonParticipantStill think Wade is a strong option as well. He got a makeable shot, just missed it. Lets be honest, neither of them have excelled in close games as teammates. LeBron still misses clutch FT’s (has been for years, it is true) and Wade still hopes for fouls that sometimes do not come. Either way, do not think either has established themselves as a complete trust worthy closer.
I would want the ball in LeBron’s hands as I believe he tends to make the right basketball play more often than not, but Wade will actually take the shot. If they learn to have LeBron do more than just stand at the sideline and actually move, than they could really be onto something, lol. We’ll see what happens, but for now I believe that whoever gets the ball has a responsibility to do what is right. I am hoping one or the other finally does that sometime in an upcoming close contest, lol, because so far it has not really happened.

Tongue-Out-Like-23ParticipantI’ve always thought Wade should take those shots but at this point, I don’t care who shoots it between the two, but you do NOT, in no way in hell, draw up a play where Chalmers not only takes the final shot but CREATES his own final shot. The guy has been struggling as of late and you not only draw up a play where he shoots it, but he has to create it? Is that all that went on in the mind of Spoelstra?
I’m perfectly fine with him shooting an open corner three if/when defenses help on Wade or LeBron but he was put in a position where he had to create it. This guy could’t create his own shot all night and you expect him to create a 3, with eight seconds left, in a playoff game?
