agreed I see Waiters being a better pro than Doron Lamb. strictly from his physical advantages.

I can’t see Toronto drafting Sullinger when they already have Amir Johnson, Ed Davis, and Andrea Bargnani who are all better suited as power forwards. Unless someone gets traded then it could possibly happen.

i see Doron Lamb as more of quality player with better feel for the game, i think he would be a stud, Waiters to me is O.J. Mayo clone while Doron Lamb remind me Drazen Petrovic in his game some.

it’s true Raptors have a bunch of bigs but they all skinny or soft, so i can see them going after Sullinger or Thomas Robinson if available, it would give them good dimension, it will be the right move if they can’t put their hands on swingman such as MKG, Barnes or Lamb

I went straight to your comments to see if your comparisons would make me laugh but most of them aren’t bad at all.

I think it’s a little harsh for any of us to neg you on anything until a little closer to the draft. We all have our own little hunches.

I disagree with the 2 PG’s falling out of the lottery because of team needs, but you make a valid point in that they are certainly not in the same class as the elite PG’s in the league. I’m not going to even get in the comparisons, you can compare with mine when I finally post mine next week maybe (it’s a work in progress).

However the thing that stuck out the most was your inclusion of a few names in the 2nd round that I haven’t seen on many people’s mocks. I liked that you took some chances but was hoping for you to expand on your reasoning for the following; Jordan Taylor, Tu Holloway, Andrew Albicy ???

Andrew Albicy i saw him play one time in Euro competition and although he really small i was impressed, i saw him run a team well, good poise, good passer and good shot selection, with the success of Isaiah Thomas who is in his mold it may open a room for him to get drafted.

Tu Holloway is an interested player, doesn’t have a big talent or good phisical tools but he’s a gamer who find ways to make impact, i’m not sold on him but maybe teams will see him as a third PG material with scoring punch similar to John Lucas or JJ Barea at best.

Jordan Taylor, some team i think will give him credit for his fantastic college career.

I’m really surprised nobody has mentioned this so I’ll go ahead and say it: there is no way that Terrence Jones and John Henson go 25th and 26th respectively. Both are likely to go lotto with their floor being late teens.

Why would the Kings take Lamb with the fifth pick? Two of their three best players are best suited playing at the SG position (Tyreke, Thornton), it would be a gamble to grab Lamb over Beal if they were going for a SG, if they really disliked Drummond enough to pass on him in favor of a SG then they should try and package the pick with a player or two to grab a good experienced forward or PG.

i thought the kings can’t take the liberty of giving on the quality and potential of Lamb at that spot, also i think the team need shooting desperately.

Why would the Cavs take Marquis Teague with the 24th pick? PG is not a need, and drafting a backup PG might make sense with one of the 2nd rounders they own, but not here. Terrence Jones, Henson, Jeff Taylor would all go to the Cavs here over Teague (assuming these players drop as your mock suggests)

^^^ cause i think that’s a great value for the 24th pick and having Marquis Teague as backup PG will be great luxury, i thought on putinng Terrence Jones there but i’m not so high on him and i realize the Cavs could find quality F instead in the early 2nd round like Draymond Green or Kevin Jones.
