bdiddy5115ParticipantI wish Noel and Adams were in this, but oh well. Other than Shabazz, no huge stars. Intrigued by a few guys though.

Jason_GrayParticipantThis game is horrible. Other than Shabazz….
I don’t really seen anyone that standout…
0 - Posted on: Wed, 03/28/2012 - 3:57pm #652624
Jason_GrayParticipantGame is starting to look a lot better….
Early in the game it was full of turnovers and sloppy play — guess it was nerve playing a factor.

Charlie SheenParticipantPoythress is so damn gifted if Cal gets Shabazz and Nerlens to add to Archie Goodwin and Ryan Harrow………watch out

Tongue-Out-Like-23ParticipantYeah, I think Shabazz is going to be a star. I’m really high on him.
0 - Posted on: Wed, 03/28/2012 - 4:08pm #652629
NickWayne87Participantcalipari has built that brand, of winning one way to the nba ticket basketball……however he’s done it, he’s done it alright….

Future_Scoutim i the only 1 who thinks there’s potential in this class?
anderson has skills
0 - Posted on: Wed, 03/28/2012 - 4:13pm #652637
Tongue-Out-Like-23ParticipantVery nice moves by Kyle Anderson. Hopefully Bazz goes to UCLA, that’ll be a nice combo along with Joshua Smith, Tony Parker (Again, hopefully), and the Wear twins.
0 - Posted on: Wed, 03/28/2012 - 4:14pm #652634
For_Never_EverParticipantThat kid Shaquille Johnson should have been selected in this game with his hops he is tailer made for this setting.
0 - Posted on: Wed, 03/28/2012 - 4:14pm #652638
Tongue-Out-Like-23ParticipantAnybody else see a slight resemblence between Lamar Odom and Kyle Anderson?
0 - Posted on: Wed, 03/28/2012 - 4:22pm #652640
Stevenim sorry, i think this class has a big ole goose egg written all over it.
0 - Posted on: Wed, 03/28/2012 - 4:23pm #652641
Stevenps how about gabe york anybody?
0 - Posted on: Wed, 03/28/2012 - 4:24pm #652642
ilike.panochasParticipantKyle Anderson’s game reminds me if Landry Fields.
I like what I’m seeing in Rodney Purvis, he looks like a cross between Rodney Stuckey and Dwayne Wade.
0 - Posted on: Wed, 03/28/2012 - 4:29pm #652645
HaleParticipantI stopped watching but I’m a big fan of Purvis and Muhammad. Anderson showed promise in the few minutes I watched. Has Shaq Goodwin done anything?
0 - Posted on: Wed, 03/28/2012 - 4:30pm #652646
For_Never_EverParticipantThat short white kid looks out of place with everyone.

How the hell do you come up with this ish?! lmfao!!

McDunkinIsaiah Austins eyes vs Anthony Davis eye brows
I give the edge to ADs brows based on the fact they have been working so closely together as a team for years…IAs eyes on the other hand are all over the place out there0 - Posted on: Wed, 03/28/2012 - 4:36pm #652650
Johnny ChillTyler Lewis is sorry. This is a weak PG class.
0 - Posted on: Wed, 03/28/2012 - 4:46pm #652656
bdiddy5115ParticipantI’m loving Anderson’s patient, mature game. He just needs to get lower with his handle, defensive guards will rip him otherwise. The Fields comparison makes no sense.
0 - Posted on: Wed, 03/28/2012 - 4:48pm #652657
Johnny ChillLooks like Duke got the best shooter in this class.
0 - Posted on: Wed, 03/28/2012 - 4:51pm #652659
For_Never_EverParticipantIsaiah Austins reminds me of spencer hawes a soft skilled perimeter orated center.
0 - Posted on: Wed, 03/28/2012 - 4:57pm #652665
Tongue-Out-Like-23ParticipantDammit, why isn’t Bazz getting any PT? He comes in for about 2-3 minutes and is back out for another 5-7.
0 - Posted on: Wed, 03/28/2012 - 5:07pm #652673
For_Never_EverParticipantYeah it would have nice to see Gabe York. I have been trying to figure out his ethnicity since I knew about him. Like damn is he white ? If he is he got some hops for a white kid.
0 - Posted on: Wed, 03/28/2012 - 5:08pm #652669
Steventyler lewis is going to get demolished… i like his game, i really do. but for top d1 competiton… idk i just dont even know.
0 - Posted on: Wed, 03/28/2012 - 5:35pm #652708
uknationParticipantLike I say ever year don’t put too much stock into this game. Lewis is a very good GAME player. He isn’t built for All star game settings. This class is pretty weak. buzz looked good as far as fast break and motor. Not so much in the half court. Still doesn’t have a right hand but out works players. I agree with the NBA scouts who say this is one of the weaker classes they have seen.

WizardofOzParticipantThat game just reinforced how underwhelming this class is.
It was more competitive than most HS all-star games, but the skill and talent wasn’t quite there.
-Kyle Anderson should be played straight up when he drives. he’s a much better drop off passer than finisher. Decent all around game with the expected all-star game sloppiness.-Yogi is really good. Super quick and can pass and shoot.
-I expected more flash out of Lewis.
-Purvis showed well. Very good power and finishing ability for a guard with some nifty passes as well. Bulked up and looks a tick less quick though
-Poythress and Archie Goodwin should be a nasty combo at Kentucky. Poythress in particular can be everything people thought Terrence Jones was supposed to be. Great build, strength, athleticism and all around ability.
-Bennett is a force. Looks bigger than he’s listed at because of his length and explosiveness. Nice looking stroke as well (nh).
-Sulaimon is gonna be a really good college player, maybe he has a delonte west type role in the future. He’s solid in all facets, defends and can shoot the ball real well. He’s just undersized for the 2.
-i have yet to be impressed with Gary Harris or Perry Ellis. Harris certainly does not look 6’6 like he’s listed.
-TJ Warren is sneaky good. If you dont pay attention he can rack up points in a hurry.
-Outside of his length I dont see what’s so special about Kris Dunn, kid is sloppy.
-Brandon Ashley? meh. Grant Jerrett will be a better player than him.
-Marcus Smart is a winner, but skillwise, what does he do well? Reminds me of sergio mcclain.
-Not impressed by any of those fat, unathletic bigs, although Dajuan Coleman showed a nice little mid-range jumper.
-Amile Jefferson = overrated. SF with an ugly slingshot set shot, not a good ball-handler, not a good first step.
-Marcus Paige was nondescript. I never understood his high ranking.

M-EazyParticipantAs a Syracuse fan I almost cried when I saw DaJuan Coleman…my first time actually seeing him and I knew he was big, but gotdamn not that big. Kid looked like a future professional left tackle. I pray Nerlens Noel makes the right decision and comes to Cuse because with Coleman in the middle I am not confident that he’ll be able to move around like the back of Cuse’s zone should.
Overall, I stopped watching the game midway through the 2nd quarter because it became clear to me that Shabazz is heads and shoulders over everyone else in the class. And somebody please tell Adidas to cut it out with the ugly ass jerseys; you cannot compete with Nike!
0 - Posted on: Thu, 03/29/2012 - 8:58am #652979
uknationParticipantTrust me when I say this……Coleman can move!!! Seen him in a couple of games and you’d be surprised how well he moves as well as how well he gets up.
I pretty much agree with Wiz. Although Hariis has always been listed at around 6’3-6’4. Haven’t watched him much but hasn’t impressed me when I do watch him
Jefferson is the type of player who will put up numbers in college. Game is kinda like Antwan Jamison before he was a pro. Not that pretty but seems to get numbers
Marcus smart just looks like every other good guard that I’ve seen. Nothing special about him IMO but I heard he’s a winner so I guess there’s that
Alex impresses me every time I see him. He has a high motor and does many things well. Archie is much more athletic and crafty than I though. Good replacement for lamb.
Been telling people on here about grant since his freshman year in high school before he was ranked high. All star settings don’t do justice for his game. He is a very good system player with a lot of post moves. Always said he’s better than Ashly who I think is overrated
Shabazz is good but what makes him better than everyone else is his motor and mind set. On the down side he has zero left hand and is easier to guard in a half court setting but just like MKG he can still slash but he can also hit the mid range consistently
