If these three players all go pro. There is no reason why Lamb should be picked before Rivers or Beal. lamb isnt closed to as talented as the other two. I dont under stand why he is so overhyped and projected so high.

I’m going to disagree with you here. Lamb has an incredible smooth as silk shot. Great defender. Very clutch. Never nervous. Crazy wingspan. Built exactly like a 2 should be. Besides weight, i can not find a flaw in his game.

Jeremy Lamb and Austin Rivers will have one of those careers where Rivers will make plenty of all-star teams, but Lamb will contribute in winning more with great play on both sides of the ball.

Lamb is very skilled and with these three you can really go either way. I think it depends on what team is drafting that going to affect where they are taking. Is it just me or does Lamb looks taller than the 6’5 which he’s listed. Or maybe its just because of  his long arms.

I firmly believe Lamb will be the best pro. He’s one of those guys that does everything well, and on top of that, has the potential to be something really special. I see him becoming a Rip Hamilton type scorer on a championship team, but who knows? The sky is the limit for that kid.

Beal could be a good pro too. I don’t know too much about him besides that he has a good shooting touch and averages nearly 7 rebounds a game as a 6’3” guard, which is crazy! I think that shows a lot of dedication.

I don’t like Rivers too much. Very talented, but for some reason I think he will have a Jamal Crawford type pro career, and by that I don’t mean he is going to be like Jamal Crawford. I just think he will probably score 15-20 ppg, but it will be inefficient and won’t really amount to many wins.

But Lamb just seems like one of those special players who have all the tools to be a great pro.

He just has everything you could want from your 2 gaurd. I’m not saying he’s the perfect 2, but skillset and athletically, he’s damnear perfect. I’ve said this before and ill say it again. I really want him to go to the Cavs with kyrie and make a great young backcourt that willcompliment each other and be able to grow together.

I think Beal’s game will transfer well to the NBA the best. He is playing out of position at Florida due to all of their guards but if he was playing his natural 2 i think his numbers and stock would be way up. I see him having the best career out of the 3 but like someone said before Rivers might have to most all star games but Beal (instead of Lamb) will win the most. I also really like his mentality and it seems like he doesn’t care about stats as much as getting a win. I am unimpressed with Lamb this year, he had all the peices to lead Uconn to a good year and he failed to do that. The tournament will tell a lot about Lamb as a leader and primary scorer. Its nice to see good SGs coming out of this draft though, the NBA is weak of SGs and I believe these 3 and Ross will all be quality starting SGs.

I think Beal will be the top NBA player, and I think he has the most upside.  He is a superior at getting to the rim than Lamb, and he can finish and get to the free throw line.  Lamb will be good, but his ceiling seems to be a better defensive Rip Hamilton, while Beal could be like Eric Gordon if he keeps improving.  He just has a more complete offensive game than Lamb.

rivers is gonna hv to work very hard to be avg. beal is my fav of the 3 and lamb is going to be good as well. just clearing out and driving doesnt work unless u r a wade type athlete. another thing has he ever given u the two dribble pullup. the kid has talent but he needs possibly 2 more yrs @ duke but is gone after this year

What’s the most important point that I think the OP didn’t bring up was, Rivers and Beal are much more built for the NBA. Hitting spot up 3 and going 1 v 1 in isolation is how those guys get there points. Lamb fades away and disappears so much on a UConn team where he should be demanding the ball that it scares me to think hes going to be such a high pick.

Lamb is silky smooth, great length and handle.  I see him having a great tournament and being a future NBA All Star
