     The Ivy league continues to take the NBA by storm as former Cornell center Jeff Foote made his NBA debut last night.

    I always thought Foote was an NBA player, he’s huge and very fundamentalyy sound with good footwork and a guy who, I think, can give solid backup minutes.

    He had 4 points 4 rebounds on 2-3 shooting in 23 minutes.  I hope he can stick in the league past his current 10 Day contract.

    The Hornets didnt resign Solomon Jones to another 10 day contract and he’s a better defender then Foote and Jones averaged about the same stats that Foote had in his debut…Hopefully Foote can impress some other team,becuz unless the Hornets make a trade and Okafor doesnt return..I dont see a need for Foote becuz of all the frontcourt depth Okafor,Kamen,Ayon,Smith & Landry..

    And like Lin all Foote needs is a chance to prove himself..I remember scouts saying how they really like Lin..Some sites even had Lin listed as a possible 1st rounder,so it surprised alot of folks when he went completely undrafted….NBA teams didnt feel he would do the things in the nba,that he did at Harvard…

     Good for him. I never thought he would be able to make the league, but this shows hard work pays off
