OldSkoolBasketballParticipantCrawford, Felton, Wallace, and Camby are guys that are most likely to be dealt before the deadline.
Crawford is getting plenty of trade rumors involving him with the Clippers for Bledsoe.
There are rumors Felton would be dealt to the Lakers for Steve Blake.
Wallace has the most trade value on the team and has a player option for next year.
Camby is an expiring contract and any team that needs a center that could block shots and rebound in limited minutes would be good.
Another name I’m hearing is Wes Matthews might be on the trade block.
The problem is the Blazers don’t even have a GM.

river09ParticipantThey would trade Wes Matthews? He’s shown some real promise in his two years, atleast I have been impressed.. I’ve always liked the style of guard play coming out of marquette (they have been on a roll lately haven’t they.. Wes Matthews, jerel McNeal, Jimmy Butler, Lazar Hayward, Steve Novak, oh yeah that one guy dwayne wade..)…

IndianaBasketballParticipantIF I’m the Lakers, I’d rather keep Steve Blake lol. Felton looks awful.
The Blazers are definitely underperforming and Love beat Aldridge like he said something about his momma last night. I mean, he just abused the Blazers’ front court.
They need to get back to basics. Defending without fouling, rebounding and then getting quality possessions in the half court.

The8thDeadlySinParticipantTheir problem is coaching…

IndianaBasketballParticipantYou think Nate McMillian is the problem? Care to expand on that a little?

What The DevilParticipantIt’s not Nate’s fault that the heart and soul of his team had to retire because of injury, or that Oden has bad legs, or that so much has been thrust on Aldridge in such a short period of time, or that Felton is playing god awful….If anything Nate deserves credit for his team getting this far in my opinion….

OldSkoolBasketballParticipantActually most fans in Portland want Nate gone. Some say he is awful at managing point guards. He refuse to let young players and rookies to play even in blowout games until the last few minutes of the 4th. So that ruins youth development. Many fans wanted Batum to be the starting shooting guard but Nate kept him on the bench. At the end of the day he should get part of the blame as well. It doesn’t help that the owner wants yes men working for him. Thats why Rich Cho and KP got fired. The team has an interim GM right now. Training staff is awful as well.

ItsVictorOladipoParticipantWes Matthews would be a great fit with a number of teams. A young, defensive minded SG that can score when needed, who doesn’t want that?

aamir543ParticipantNate isn’t the primary problem, butfrom the start I was a bit weary about them being a defensive half-court team when they clearly have more offensive personel. I think Nate is a great coach, but needs to realize that whatever he’s doing right now isn’t working. Unfortunatly the damage might already be done. But like they say, winning heals all wounds. They definatly have enough talent to win though. Once they get roling, they’ll be hard to beat, but things aren’t looking good in Portland as of now. Maybe a change of scenery is neccesary in this case, but at this point in the season, Portland can’t find a better coach than McMillan.
And I jsut saw on Hoopshype that the Lakers and Blazers are in talks about Felton, and several teams including the Clips, Wolves, Kings, Raptors, and Bucks all show interest in Jamal Crawford.
I saw that the Blazers want Bledsoe in exchange for Crawford. Long term, Bledsoe, might be a good asset for the Clips, but in the short term, Crawford fills the void they’ve been missing since Chauncey went down.

TRC1991Participantwesley matthews is a lot like arron afflalo. hes a great 2 guard if paired with a offensively dominant PG where he wont have to get 20 a game. remember how effective he was when he was with D-WILL?

F_DA_POParticipantI really like the Crawford for Bledsoe trade as a Clippers fan. I think Crawford would help the team more than Billups did. I wish they could get Camby too, but I don’t think it’s financially possible.
