     Byron Mullens has acquired a British passport, allowing him to join the Great Britain national team for the London Olympics.

    Mullens’ mother hails from Middlesex, which is just outside of London.

    Mullens was recruited to play for the British national team by Bulls forward Luol Deng.

    “When we played against Charlotte, I spoke to him a little bit and he seemed really excited,” Deng said.

    They really do have a fair bit of individual talent; Luol Deng, Byron Mullens, Ben Gordon and guys like Joel Freeland and Pops Mensah-Bonsu who have had success overseas. If they can come together and play as a team they should be able to contend for a medal which would be a huge accomplishment for a pernennial doormat.
