Jlv2012If he develops a consistent jumpshot and better court vision he will be better than most guards in the league.

FastAndFuriousParticipantIs 20 pounds away from being better than most guards as well.
Have to go by what you see now.
I take Jennings

boffacheeriosParticipantThey’re both game changing guards when they’re at their best, the problem is currently they both have inconsistencies and weaknesses that stop them from being great. They’re both in the same tier as far as I’m concerned.

BasketBalAllanParticipantI do not feel that you can really compare them. Tyreke is more of a 2-3 with great passing skills, while Jennings is a true pg who has great court vision but shoots to much for his low shooting %. Being a Kings fan i would say Tyreke but i might be more than a little biased.

BasterdInABasketParticipantIf Sacramento offered Tyreke straight up for Jennings Id take that in a heartbeat if Im Milwaukee. Other than 3 point shooting (33% on 6 3PA vs. 24% on 2 3PA isnt saying much), Evans is better at just about everything. Not as quick as Jennings but what does quickness get BJ when hes not that good of a passer and cant finish in the paint. Tyreke for sure.

river09ParticipantEvans. Hands down. I know Jennings can be that electric game changer, but he’s a bit too much of a ball dependant guard in my mind and isn’t a lights out shooter. I honestly don’t see him getting much better. All that Evan’s is missing from his game is a jumpshot, and when (not if) he develops one he will be unstoppable. Even now Tyreke is putting up similar numbers to Jennings, he showed his rookie year how good he can be when no one was sure about his jumper (20pts5reb5asts). He can bull his way past any PG in the league and get anywhere on the floor with ease. Let me just be bold here and say that I can see him being one of the best players in the league hands down in 4-5 years. He has all the tools everything hinges on that jumpshot.

NihochuParticipantBrandon Jennings for the simple fact he is good for the team. He passes the ball well , and scores within a team structure not within greedyness or selfishness. It shows when a team with not a lot of good scorers (Milwaukee) are a better offensive team with scorers like thornton , cousins , evans … because they have a player that is willing to pass the ball and cares about his team winning. Even though Jennings shoots a bad % i think thats only because of the team he plays on …. Tyreke Evans IMO is a ball stopper even if stats say otherwise , but i do still beleive that Tyreke Evans can become a very very very special player…… if he changes his mentality

OllstarParticipantReke is just too good man, he’s a jump shot away from reaching superstardom. He’s gotta ball on string handle and size and athleticism that is hard to find. Nothing against BJ we all saw the 55 point game and when he is going he is fun too watch I just don’t see how you pass on Tyreke’s size and skill set.

Stevenyou really think if jennings adds 20 more lbs hes gonna be better than most guards youngdave? im sorry i strongly disagree with. hed be better definitely, but hed still be around the 16-20 range for me.

dylanhouParticipantBrandon Jennings. Their numbers are similar but Bj produces way more wins (since theyve both been in the league) on a team with way less talent… equaling a better point guard

NYK2010ParticipantJennings isn’t better than Reke come on.

Meditated StatesParticipantI think with better weapons he would shoot less. Reke is a 2 with a inconsistent J. Can spot time as pg but hurts the team playing there. Give me Jennings.

PulseGlazerParticipantBoth have the same basic weakness- jump shooting – but Reke is better elsewhere, and bigger, so he has a more natural position. Milwaulkee plays better when Livingston runs the show. Reke as a 2 or 3 is better than Jennings as a 1. Jennings as a 1 or 2 is better than Reke as a 1, but Reke’s an atrocious 1.
