marcusfizer21ParticipantBulls @ Bucks… Rose already has 16 1st Quarter points and Luol Deng is back…

DanEboyParticipantJennings 0-5 with 3 PF already. Too bad this is turning into a blowout, Rose needs a 50 point game on his resume already.

marcusfizer21ParticipantThe thing about Derrick Rose is, he is capable of scoring 50 but he simply won’t… Rose is way too unselfish… I remember the 44-point game he had against the Hawks in game 3, DanEBoy, where he could have had 3 trips/chances to at least score but he refused to since they were up by a huge margin.. damn… He could have gone for 50 right there…
I’ve always taken the Jennings-Rose match up personally because of some people here in this site thinking that Jennings will be better than Rose after his 55-point explosion… Totally absurd!

JNixonParticipantBrandon Jennings badly needs more scorers on his team. He’s too small for his offensive responsibilities, and I don’t think he’ll ever get strong enough to ideally be the guy he’s gotta be for this team to be competitive against solid teams.

marcusfizer21ParticipantI gotta give credit for Brandon Jennings for making the Bucks relevant again… They lack the identity years past… Bogut could have been that guy but he was never healthy enough…

DanEboyParticipantYeah, and he got those 16 tonight in the first 5 minutes of the game. He takes certain match ups real personal, Jennings is definitely one of them.
And Iggy, you are absolutely correct.

marcusfizer21ParticipantJust imagine Korver, Deng, Rose, hitting those 3’s on a nightly basis… They’re basically unstoppable… The 3 Stooges are on fire!

OhCanada-ParticipantRose has never had a 50 point game because he doesnt force bad shots unless his team is out of rythm and needs him to do something spectacular. Derrick is one of the best team players in the league although you would never tell from his statline.

BiggysmallsParticipantI remember the first time I’d ever watched Rose and Jennings was when Simeon played Oak Hill in a HS game and Rose had something like 28 points, 8 rebounds and 15 assists and handed Oak Hill its first loss in something like 40 games (maybe more). Oak Hill had Nolan Smith a believe, and I’m sure I’m forgetting others but Rose was just unstoppable. He is just such a physical freak and combines his speed, quickness, and size so well that people just can’t stop him for a long period of time.
Jennings is a nice player, but if you take away that 55 point game, I dont think people would have quite as high of an opinion of him. He’s good, dont get me wrong, but he isnt an elite PG (though in his defense, without Bogut, the bucks really don’t have anybody worth noting that can really score the ball)

sheltwon3ParticipantJennings tends to be good when Bucks are Healthy which they are rarely. He is also inconsistent so if he has a bad game it is noticeable when there is no one else doing anything especially after that 55 point game. I think this coming summer he need to really rework some things and add more to his game so that he can be a consistent player. Also Skile point guard tend to play better only after he has left or they are traded. He helps them to be better but for some reason it does not show until he is gone for the most part.
