valentineone of the most interesting games IMO. 2 top 10 PF’s going at each other.

ilike.panochasParticipantQuincy Miller is such a tease, you look at his length and skills, you can see top 5 talent, but doesn’t have the stats to solidify his stock. If he gets choosen outside of top 10, he is going to be a major steal.

Knicksboy42ParticipantAre we sure Miller is coming out this year?

B FreeParticipantIm seeing a lot of Derrick Williams in Robinson, post wise that is. He has great athletisism and quickness down low.

FastAndFuriousParticipantTyshaun Taylor is starting to come along as well, already has 14pts, 3 assist, after just coming off of being BIG12 player of the week.

JNixonParticipantIt is nearly impossible to beat KU when Tyshawn Taylor is playing his game and is focused. This is the best I’ve seen him play in a long time. Maybe since he’s been at KU.
Thomas Robinson is a great athlete man and his offensive game has developed BEAUTIFULLY since when he 1st got to KU.
Perry Jones continues to show his versatile skill-set, still floats and doesn’t bang much, but he’s a great athlete with size and his skills are unquestioned man.

Future_Scouttyshawn taylor is really looking good. off the dribble and really quick pump fake layups, that r needed in the nba as a guard

FastAndFuriousParticipantEven tho it’s been a blowout for most of the second half, Pierre Jackson looks very good, he is breaking the defense down so easy, he is super quick and shifty.

SwatLakeCityParticipantI was really impressed by Tyshawn Taylor in this game. 28pts and 6 assists. The only bad thing was the 5 turnovers. I am definitely moving him up on my draftboard.

417basketballfanParticipanttaylor is gonna do something exciting throughout a game. He might have 10 assists or he could have 10 turnovers but whatever he does he will for sure keep you on your toes

Johnny ChillI thought Thomas Robinson was the best player in NCAA when I saw him play in the Maui Classic vs Duke. He was already averaging a double double early in the season. Definitly 1st team All American. Possible Player of the Year too.
Tyshawn Taylor is a joke for a point guard. TT should be named TO.

Lotto StudParticipantWTF happened to Elijah last night, why did he leave the floor?

JoeWolf1Elijah, I believe, just got dehydrated.
I thought Robinson vastly out played Jones last night. Jones did what he often does, and that is show flashes and disappear. He put on a nice clinic showing his offensive skill set in the 1st half and then pretty much didn’t do anything until KU had a 15 point lead and the game was out of hand. He also only pulled down 5 rebounds playing against another lotto guy and a legit 7 footer, driving home the point that I don’t think he’ll be anything more than an average, or slightly below average rebounder at the next level.
Robinson, on the other hand, was up for this game and it showed. He showed great footwork, post passing, and his expanding skill set the whole game. The thing I noticed most is how strong he looked playing against 2 NBA quality PF’s. He had no trouble sealing off Jones or keeping him at bay, and he threw Quincy Acy, a very strong guy, to the ground while ripping a rebound out of his hands. While pulling down 14 boards to boot.
Like I had indicated I would take Sullinger and Robinson ahead of Jones and this game just made my opinion stronger.
Tyshawn Taylor had a monster game, but I have him out of my mock right now. He is a great athlete, when he goes into the combine he’ll put up a 35+” vert, have a 6’7”-6’8” wingspan and run the 3/4 sprint in the low 3.0’s, but like a lot of you guys said, he takes awful care of the ball. He’s got a nice two game streak going and if he can keep this play up in conference ball, then I could see him sneaking in the 2nd. That being said, I think he has an alright bball IQ, but he just doesn’t focus on taking care of the ball the whole game. He was a guy who lead the FIBA U19 team in scoring after his freshman year and really didn’t get any better. He has the talent, he just has to get his head together in the next couple months if he wants a shot at getting drafted.
Jeff Withey isn’t an exciting guy when talking about NBA prospects, but I think he’ll get picked up in the 2nd of 2013 because he’s a moble 7 footer and a big time shot blocker. He’s also an 85% FT shooter, he keeps getting better and you can’t teach size.

MalcolmxParticipantTyshawn taylor is a good player you just never know what hat will he wear to work. Thomas Earl Robinson is top player in college this year.
