cuseflynn10ParticipantOf the remaining undefeated teams, do you see any going undefeated?
Murray State is #18 in the nation and the best teams in the Ohio Valley are Eastern Kentucky (9-7), Tennessee Tech (9-6), and Tennessee State (8-7). Southeast Missouri State (7-7), and Eastern Illinois (7-6) make up the rest of the .500+ teams. There could be an upset, but I think Murray State is the heavy favorite to win each matchup. There is always the possibility of an upset, but they only have 7 games left against the .500 teams.
Two Big 12 teams remain undfeated. The conference is looking good. It has tough teams in KSU, Kansas, Texas, OSU, and Iowa State among others (worst team record wise is 7-6 Texas Tech.) But the most interesting matchup is going to be Missouri against Baylor, January 21, and February 11. Both teams could undefeated when the meat for the first time in two weeks. Obviously at least one will suffer a loss, but can one of these teams win out in the Big 12?
Syracuse has a brutal schedule down the stretch. Feb. 8th and 11th are home against G’TOWN and UCONN. Then two road games at Louisville and Rutgers. Followed by home against USF, at UCONN, and finishing at home on March 3 against Louisville again. And that isn’t counting Marquette, Pitt, WVU, Cincinnati, or almost any other Big East team that could pull an upset at any time. Syracuse is deep, but back up PF James Southerland, and back up C Baye Moussa Keita are nursing injuries, causing Rakeem Christmas and Fab Melo to get increased minutes. Rakeem had 5 and Fab had 4 fouls in the last game which could be a problem should Southerland and Keita be out for an extended period of time.
Which of the final 4, if any, can go undefeated?

jeff416ParticipantMurray State has a chance to go undefeated in the regular season, they will be heavily favored in all of there remaining games. They wont win the championship though. I think there good enough to make the Sweet Sixteen, maybe Elite Eight. I don’t really see them going farther than that.
Cuse wont go undefeated, they probably will lose a few times in the Big East.
I dont think Missouri or Baylor will go undefeated either. Since they play each other it’s not even possible for both to go undefeated. But I see them both losing a few games in the Big 12.
