NEWARK, N.J. (AP)—Chris Flores scored 19 points to lead New Jersey Institute of Technology over Division III St. Joseph’s (N.Y.) 78-50 on Monday night.

Isaiah Wilkerson added 18 points and PJ Miller 13 for the Highlanders (4-5), who snapped their only two-game losing streak of the season with the victory. NJIT was playing its first home game since a Nov. 26 loss to St. Francis (N.Y.).

Jan Rogowski knocked down a pair of free throws for the Bears for the game’s first points, and that was the only time the Division III squad would lead. A Ryan Woods layup and a Flores 3-pointer sparked a 19-4 NJIT run and the Highlanders led the rest of the way.

NJIT had a 32-25 advantage at the break and outscored St. Joseph’s 46-25 in the second half to seal it.

David Louison and Rogowski led the Bears (4-6) with 10 points apiece.
