valentineSo what happens with the Defending Champions? they loss the 2nd best player in the finals series, and some post in this sites tell that they are letting go of JJ barea, also, though he did not played in the Finals series, Caron butler left,
they add some players, like:
Rudy Fernandez, Brendan Wright, Andy Rautins
that would left them with an old Core,
Jason terry, Jason Kidd, Dirk Nowitzki and Shawn Marion, and not to mention they have brendan haywood maning the paint ( im not saying that he is not a good player, but replacing Chandler in paint????)
i’m also excited on how they would use scoring guard Rodrigue Beaubois,
though season has not started
thoughts?
would they still win the ring?

torontoraptors10ParticipantThey also signed Vince Carter and want to sign Samuel Dalembert to solidify their frontcourt. I believe they will remain competitive and with an aging roster, I don’t think they will get it to the finals, Western finals is the farthest I can see them go.

apb540ParticipantI hope the Mavs are a darkhorse team that comes out of no where now or next offseason and grabs D-Will or Howard. Otherwise, they are a long shot to get back to the finals. Good luck with Samuel Dalembert. eewww

Not bad, chemistry may be an issue but I doubt "Pass the ball to Dirk and get out the way" is that hard to comprehend

FilipinoEllalo, its good to play at dallas, like what charlie sheen said, "give the ball to dirk and get out of the way"
but putting terry and Vince on together will give dirk some extra minutes to rest, they require the ball alot to move
