I like Derozan, but he was only really consistent at the end of the season. I don’t believe he’ll ever average more than 19-20 points a game. That might even be a stretch too, maybe he just doesn’t have the personality to dominate. His range and handle will get better with time, but does he really have the drive to be great? Only time will tell, but who do you think will end being the best pro player in this Freshman class? I read somewhere this Paul George kid will end being the “gem” of this class, but I have yet to see him play. It looks like he’s got good size and I’ve heard he jumps out of the gym and that he’s pretty quick too with decent range. Does anybody have a real Draft Evaluation on this kid? It just seems like there’s no real “gem” that’s going to come out of this Freshman class. I didn’t take Jennings into this conversation either, I think he will be great, I would’ve love to have seen him in that AZ Louisville game. Not saying AZ would’ve won, I just believe it might have been a little closer. Besides him, who’s the best?

UCONN game Kemba Walker might be. He was there best player against Mizzou and would probably be an all-big east player is Price wasnt their. Also NBADraft.net has him as a late lottery, mid-first rounder in 2010. So who knows!!

He might possibly be it. He just needs to mature slightly, gain experience at the point, and develop more consistent range. His athleticism, quickness, handle, strength, and body control are top notch though. As this stage of his career he’s TJ Ford, but he will get much better. Who’s Kemba Walker’s best case sceanrio comparison? Tim Hardaway? Walker’s handle is really good, but will it ever be as good as Timmy’s? He’s only 19, so I’d believe he’s only going to get better.

I had no idea that NBADRAFT.NET compaired Kemba Walker to Hardaway.

Look out for jrue holliday. I know many people have called him overrated and rightfully so after his inconsistent play throughout the year at UCLA, but I believe much of that was due to paying out of position. If he comes back next year (and he should), he’ll be playing his true postion of point guard instead of playing off the ball while darren collison dominated the ball. I’m not calling him the next magic johnson, I’m just saying in a freshman class that is considered relatively weak, give holliday another year to develop at the point and he could be a sleeper. UCLA guards in recent years under ben howland have seen dramatic improvement from their freshman to sophmore years (i.e, farmar, westbrook, coliison).

Paul George possibly might be as good as Ariza offensively right now. I want to see what he can add. I think Derozan will end up the best in this class, at worst I see him as a Andre Igoudala offensively
