ProScoutParticipantWow, No Love for the seniors?? West Virgina’s Kevin Jones is dominating games so far in college baksetball! straight dominating with the most impressivest overall numbers in college basketball right now he’s averaging 22pts and 13rbs 2blks 2stls per game…. he is #4 in the country in rebounding and top 15 in country in scoring…. scouts are making there way down to morgantown as of last week so he’s impressing some GM’s in the NBA again to take a closer look

The8thDeadlySinParticipantHe hasnt really played anyone.. Akron had a 7 footer but he was neutralized by fouls.. The true test will be the nxt 4 games. If he keeps it up there, and comes close to 10 a game during Big East, then he will be in the NBA..

TRC1991ParticipantI’ve always thought Kevin Jones was NBA caliber, he has a big body but hes fluid and athletic… his outside shooting needs work, but I think coach Huggins is prepping him for playing the 4 at the next level

ProScoutParticipantNot an athlete?? Why not? because he doesnt try to dunk every basket? have you checked his combines number in NJ Pre Draft last year? his one step verticle was 35 inches and his shuttle, lateral and full court sprint was in the top 80% of all draft prospects in every combine last year and guard all 5 positions on the floor……ask anyone hes played against is he an athlete…..just because you dont dunk every shot does not mean your not an athlete

The8thDeadlySinParticipantHe isnt not an athlete.. He plays below the rim.. He rebounds below the rim and he scores below the rim.. I have played with him. Not this past summer but the one before that.. He is may be able to jump but he is not a basketball athlete…………

The8thDeadlySinParticipantI have watched every WVU Basketball game possible for 10 years.. I go to games every year and I miss work to watch them play in the middle of the day..
If there is one person on this whole website that knows the Mountaineers, its me..

JNixonParticipantKevin Jones plays with energy, probably was the most energetic player I saw in all of college basketball when WVU made it to the Final 4. He’s not as high strung as his role has expanded, but he would have to get back to that if he was to have an NBA career though. He is a decent spot-up shooter with 22 ft range, and he’s a nice presence on the offensive glass, but he really does lack fluidity and athleticism. It shows alot too. He also isn’t a good back to the basket player, but he doesn’t have nearly enough face-up skills to make up for it. I think he’s a longshot prospect.
