Kevin and Devin had a great Big East Tourney. Even though Kevin Jones didnt put up the scoring numbers that he had put up in all of the previous Big East conference games using this great mid range jumper, he did rebound great, blocked shots and played better post Defense than any other player in the Big East tournament locking up Harangody and Blair back to back, according to several GM’s in the Building. Kevin Jones also have a 7′ 4 inch wingspan that helps. Devin Ebanks same 7′ 4 inch wingspan did more for his draft stock than any freshman in the country after this weeks Big East tournament as quoted by every GM in the building that I talked to. Scoring the ball well and rebounding great while showing ice water in his veins scoring 4 clutch free throws. Raising his draft stock to a point where a lot of GM’s said that based on potential and what they have seen so far they would definately take him as a lottery pick this year.

Devin Ebanks still has a lot of things to work on…I suggest that he stay for another 1-2 years. He did have a great tournament and it made up for his “poor” regular season.

Ebanks is a stud, I thought he was gonna be real soft for this West Virginia team, just based on his style of game. But, he also proved otherwise. I saw the comparisons over the net of Rudy Gay, but he’s definitely a tougher version of him with more intangibles. Playing for WV has definitely proved his mental aspect of his game. Although, if he came back next year he could be a top 5 pick, for sure.

Had a good tourney that’s it. He was missing for majority of the season. The first highlight I saw of him was in the Big East tourney, so that should tell you something. Rudy was a better shooter than Devin. But Devin is better at handling the ball. I just don’t see him getting into this draft. He has to work on his game. He has a little handles but that is negated because he isnt strong with the ball. If he improves his game and add on an additional 15 pounds in the offseason, then he will be a lock for the lottery next year. This year he would be dumb to do such a thing…….

Joe Alexander had a Great Big East Tournament Last Season. Whats he averaging numbers wise this year again? Stay in School Ebanks don’t let your ego ruin your career.

Ebanks has the tools but he has to gain weight and get stronger.nice talent but his jumper needs some work and his defense does too,but that will probably get a lot better if he improves his strength.

If I remember, few months ago, I been said that Devin Ebanks is one of the biggest sleepers in college basketball and he has the potential to be a future NBA All-Star, but there was a lot of haters that was disrespecting my basketball knowledge, saying he wasn’t gonna amount to much of a player..Now who got the last laugh?

You been said that?? Haha, I’m laughing, don’t know if you still are……I been say it doesn’t take a genius to say someone who was a top ten recruit has a future, for him being a sleeper, top ten freshman aren’t sleepers. You can give yourself that pat on that back though, it sounds like you already been did that.

Don I remember that blog the guy is good it’s just gonna take him a minute to develop.Personally I think he went to the wrong school. He has the skill set of a top teir small forward he’s long and athletic I’d love to have him on my team wish he would have went to a school that would have showcased his skills more.

Sorry, They all speak under the assumption when answering questions, trusting that it remains anonymous. What I will say, is that atleast 3 quarters of the GM’s in the NBA were in the Garden along with a bunch of NBA and European Scouts in the building and atleast everyone I asked mentioned Ebanks, Jones. Devendorf Stock also rose aswell as Cory Stokes. Dante Cunningham will definately make an NBA Roster also.

I can see GM’s saying that their stock is rising. However, I can also see them saying that Ebanks needs another year and Jones needs a couple more. I’m a WVU fan but I don’t see either one of them going this year. If they did, especially Jones, it would be a mistake like Bill Walker made last year. He should have stayed and been the stud but chose to leave and now its going to take him a few years longer the it should to develope but he might get a ring in the mean time.

Everyone thinks that their doing some magical scouting work by sayin that these blue-chippers are going to be something down the road…no kidding! Come on, they’re coming in highly touted, thus making them elite at the high school level. Someone also put up something a while ago talkin bout the frosh from fla st., chris singleton, sayin he’s a sleeper down the road, I mean come on he was a mcdonalds all american, what do u expect! So its not far fetched that they would become legitimate prospects down the road. You guys really don’t get much credit for saying things like that, i’m sorry. But in regards to Ebanks, he’s a good young player and thats it. Lets just leave there, enuff of the comparisons and all that, he still has to work on his game to become a full time 3 at the next level, let alone be consistently productive and effective in college for a full season, which we haven’t seen yet. But he’s still only a freshman (remember freshman are freshman) so it’ll be cool to watch him develop at the college level and see his game round out, should be a lotto pick in 2-3 yrs.

Yeah Ebanks has a lot of upside, I think he is going to be better then Aminu when if they both leave next year. Ebanks will take more time to develop but he is a freak athlete and has great size, give him some perimeter skills and wow. I think he is a lot like better version Ariza.
