    Ante el comunicado emitido recientemente por el jugador Bismack Biyombo y su agencia de representación relativo a nuestro club, el Baloncesto Fuenlabrada quiere expresar lo siguiente: 

    Tras la petición de obtener la carta de libertad ejercida por el jugador Bismack Biyombo, la ACB, la Federación Española y la FIBA han dado la razón al Baloncesto Fuenlabrada denegando dicho documento. 

    Respecto a las infundadas acusaciones de incumplimiento de contrato por parte de nuestro club, el Baloncesto Fuenlabrada responderá en el momento y lugar correspondientes, esto es, a lo largo del proceso judicial en el que se ha de dirimir este punto. 

    Por último, es importante reseñar que el Baloncesto Fuenlabrada posee el 80% de los derechos federativos del jugador Bismack Biyombo hasta el mes de junio del año 2014, en virtud del acuerdo firmado entre el club y su agencia de representación en el año 2009. Por tanto, para que el jugador pueda ser inscrito por cualquier equipo en una competición oficial ha de llegar previamente a un acuerdo con nuestra entidad. El Baloncesto Fuenlabrada valora estos derechos en tres millones de euros.

    I get the club being bitter over the guy quitting on the team to play in a high school All-Star game, but € 3 million or $4.09 million for Biyombo (who by the way was probably was making next to nothing for them) is crazy. Obviously, they don’t want him anymore, but that would be taking the vast majority of his guaranteed money from his rookie deal (first two years). I’d feel bad for Biyombo if not for the fact that he quit on his team to play in a high school All-Star game.
