• the US-Mexican border
• like a strippers name
• what a girl says after sex
• Jessica Alba’s husbands name
• Twilight movies
• the food at Hooters
• a comb to Derek Fisher

• Fourth of July in England

• Your posts completely lack originality. You generally tend to copy whatever SLAM does, and leave everything else out.
• You put incredibly little research into your posts, and almost expect people to do work for you, without giving any insight or opinion.
• You write messages to Aran on the message board, rather than trying to e-mail him. He may not respond, but that does not mean he is ignoring you, anymore than his lack of response would be when you post these topics.
• You never listen to people who tell you the reason they dislike your posts or some of the things you post about.
• You would rather post a new topic rather than look at the message board for a topic that may be exactly the same, hence drowning out material to the mass group of people who read whatever is at the highest point on the forum.
• You talk about OJ Mayo and Lance Stephenson WAY more than they need to be talked about. I personally do not hate either player, and I think the majority of people more than likely hope for their success. The thing was, they were INCREDIBLY hyped as HS players, and they are simply not upper echelon NBA talents. They are both good players, it is amazing that they made it to the NBA, but they are playing marginal roles on 8th seeded teams. Why are these two players of such importance to you? Is Tyreke Evans too good for you to talk about?
• You used to give yourself a plus 1, and we all know about it, and now that you have stopped you dislike karma?
• People do not have anything against you, it is just that you have not improved whatsoever as a poster, you pretty much get worse as time goes by. In this time, so many people have understood why people may have disliked there posts and reflected upon ways to improve. You, instead, completely dismiss anything a person writes to you with incredibly mundane responses with a complete lack of comprehension. I do not think anyone feels "despite" towards you, but we really are hoping you use these things to maybe improve as a poster and make this board even more awesome than it actually is. So, you can dismiss everyone that gives you a minus as "a hater" who just purely dislikes you without giving you reason. Or, you could think, "Hmm, maybe the piles of things people were saying to me might actually help me gain more positive responses?" You have gone this long without doing it, would it hurt to give it a shot?

Dude, I think you’re putting too much thought into this.  It’s an online basketball website.. you’re not losing money, nobody thinks your less of a poster, and nobody cares how many negative or positive points you have.

I must say memphistyga has become one of the more annoying posters around here. Complete agree with everything that MikeyV had to say, specially the part where Memphistyga would post questions without bothering googling it, and he does indeed bite off SLAM topics/ideas.

I just want him to understand why he may be getting negative feedback, and maybe get more positive feedback. Lets face it, the internet has become a place where anonymous people say horrible things and some people just have fun doing and saying bad things about people. It is incredibly immature, maybe even a cry for help, but, nonetheless, even if they had to comment as to why they disliked a post, do you think that would be better?

Yes, it would be awesome if I knew who the person was giving me negative points for a post that I would think should be completely neutral or has gotten a lot of positive response, but would that not lead to just more bad blood and obnoxious topics? If I were to say, "Who gave me negatives and why?", I am sure all I would get would be responses that I deem as more than likely being a) petty or b) unsatisfactory. Meanwhile, you actually get the exact opposite of this, all of the time, do nothing with it, and than say "Why are people disliking my posts without saying anything?" Of posters who could make this complaint, your name would probably be pretty damn far down the list, memphistyga. You seem like a nice guy, I am sure you are one, but peoples positive advice, or things that should make you think, seem to do what Vince Carter did to Freddie Weis. If you do not get this reference, than I do not think there is anymore I could do to try and help.
