Bryant24ParticipantI was playing NBA 2k the other day i was playing against the hawks and the commentators said that they are the most athletic team in the NBA. Who is the most athletic team in the NBA to you guys?

Chilbert arenasParticipantI’m bias but I’d say Clippers. Blake is the obvious one that starts off the list, but then Deandre Jordan, Aminu, Eric Gordon, Eric Bledsoe, and add Travis Leslie to that list. And Mo Williams and Gomes are decent athletes, not great though.
Maybe the Raptors, DeRozan,Weems, Ed Davis, Amir Johnson, Joey Dorsey, Bayless are all pretty damn athletic.

flybobbyflyParticipantthunder seems pretty chalk full of athletes with westbrook, harden, ibaka, durant, thabo, and even maynor
The wizards have some great athletes also with wall, crawford, young, mcgee, vesely, singleton etc
To me its between those two teams.

HitsterParticipantWhen I read the topic heading, the Clippers first sprang to mind but certainly the Wizards have to be up there and any D’Antoni team you know will be quick. The Thunder would also be in my top 5 as well so the consensus seems to be there.

JNixonParticipantDefinitely Washington, the Clips, OKC, and I also think the Grizzlies have an athletic team. Just ask San Antonio.

ivoeeninkParticipantI would also say clippers when you add Travis Leslie to a group that allready includes Blake ‘dunk champion’ Griffin, DeAndre Jordan might be the second most athletic C in the league (don’t have to tell who is nr. 1, do I?) the rest of Gordon, Bledsoe, Aminu can all get up. Don’t know if Moon still with the team? If he does, don’t forget about him.
Thunder also pretty freakin athletic, see flybobbyfly‘s reply for the names. They also add guard Reggie Jackson who is athletic.
Don’t know about Raptors, DeRozan ofcourse is a freak athlete. But the rest of team a bit average. As far i know Weems signed with a team in Europe without an NBA clause so don’t count him.

JoeWolf1The Jazz because they have the most freakish athlete ever, Derrick Favors….too bad Quincey doesn’t post on here anymore, lol.
I’d say the Heat, Bron and Wade are freaks, Anthony is very good athletically and Bosh and Chalmers are above average. With the exception of Haslem, their bench isn’t that athletic really ( because a large portion is players over 33) but realistically those guys I mentioned play the majority of the minutes and you watch a Heat game and you can’t help but be impressed by their athleticism.

JoeWolf1Not that team that uses it’s athleticism to play suffocating man defense, while exploiting fast break opportunities, throwing full court alley oops, having multiple chase down blocks per game??
I think it has to be the Heat, they fine tuned their game plan to maximize their athletic ability. Their half court offense can become stagnant because they rely on their athleticism in one on one situations too much at times.
You’re not going to ever watch the Heat play the Raptors or Wizards and say the Heat are the less athletic team of the two.

Jlv2011Blake has more athleticism in his right leg than most of the teams have on their entire roster.

Chilbert arenasParticipantSo who would be the least athletic? Spurs? Hornets? Outside of Rose and maybe Deng and Taj the Bulls seem to have a way below average team in regards to athleticism. Who ya got?

JoeWolf1Bulls? no way. I’d consider them above average. Noah runs the court like a guard and had a 37” vert out of college as someone who is 7′ in shoes. Asik probably has around a 12′ max reach and Ronnie Brewer is a great all round athlete and Watson is very quick. Bogans is really pretty good for someone his age. Korver and Boozer bring down the overall of the team, but I think the Bulls, as a team, are probably above average.
