gatorheelsParticipantMy Top JUCO Player That Will Have The Most Positive Impact: De’End Parker (UCLA) 6’5" PG/SG/SF. Parker can do it all. Good passing skills, shooting, & penetrating. Can play multiple positions. Will make an immediate impact. He will be one of the reasons UCLA wins the Pac 12 this season.
My Top Transfer Player That Will Have The Most Positive Impact: Jelan Kendrick (Ole Miss) 6’6" SG/SF. Another player who can play multiple positions. Former McDonald’s All American. Ole Miss needs talent & this is what Kendrick will bring. Kendrick gives the Rebels a versatile player who will pass, score, & defend. Look for him to lead Ole Miss to an improved season this year.

Stojakovicfor3ParticipantGreat post. I love the mentioning of Swopshire. I really like this kid. He can do a bit of everything and hopefully if he stays healthy and with Jennings now gone, he can get the attention he deserves from NBA scouts. I think he can average about 14 points 9 rebounds a block and a steal a game next season.

RUDEBOY_Participant1.Detroit is a team thats under the rader…
2.Miss. State has the talent to be special this year…
3.UCLA will miss Honeycutt’s all around game, but they still have enuff talent returning to make a serious run..
4.Kansas has always found a way to be contenders every year ,despite losing good players year after year…Every since coach Bill Self have been there…
5.Baylor will start the season in the top 10 to 15 range..But will finish the season in the 25 to 30 range..They have great individual talent..But they dont play as a TEAM….

Stojakovicfor3ParticipantAlso I think UCF will be good next season with Marcus Jordan, Keith Clanton and Isaac Sosa. And then they have Michael Chandler coming in as a feshman and Tristan Spurlock who transferred. They’re my team to watch for.

ckelley015ParticipantWhat do you guys think about Creighton as a top 50 team? Creighton returns 5 starters and only one senior in PG Antoine Young , but most importantly (fresh off avg. 13 and 6 at U19) sophomore doug mcdermott, unrivaled intererior presence in the MVC in Gregory Encehnique (transferred from Rutgers if you remember) . You have Nebraska at 50 but I dont see them taking the next step and actually being over 500 in big 12 play consistently.. Not criticizing just thinkin CU might be an under-the-rader mid-major going into this season.

providencefriars1ParticipantCreighton is definitely top 50 you are right ckelley. Gator Heels, Gus Gilchrist and Dee Bost are two of my biggest sleepers and they will both breakout this year… nice write up

gatorheelsParticipantckelley- Creighton will probably have a better record than Nebraska this season. However that will be due to weaker competition. I agree though Creighton is talented, they just missed the cut. They would be in my top 60 ha. I think if Nebraska played Creighton on a neutral court then Nebraska would win. That is kind of how I did my rankings, just based on how good the teams are. Nebraska is in the Big 10 now. They have a ton of size, 3 players that 6’10" or taller. Plus they got one of the best Jucos in the country in Dylan Talley 6’5" SG. Plus they have a ton of Seniors. Bo Spencer is also playing for Nebraska this year, he is underrated (used to play for LSU).
RipTractor- I also agree with you about Central Florida. They are overlooked & will be pretty good. However, I think Isaac Sosa transferred so that hurts a bit.

Bullyball5050Participant- For seniors also take a look at David Loubeau of Texas A&M I have watch this kid since he played AAU with Brandon Knight(Pistons) and Kenny Boynton(UF) he just didnt look comfortable under Turgeon prime for a breakout year new coach an not to mention he does have skills just was not able to display them

GlenTaylorSucksParticipantDefinitely a bit biased as a Badger, but there’s no way you can leave out Jordan Taylor as a senior to watch. I’m willing to bet he’ll contend for first-team all american this year; he made the 2nd last year. You could make a case for him as the best non-Jimmer and Kemba guard in the country of all last season.

Chilbert arenasParticipantI watched Renardo since he was a junior in high school and there’s no reason he shouldn’t play in the L. This is a make or break year for him. If Derrick Caracter could fight through the controversy and get drafted then Sidney certainly should be able to.

BigChamp12ParticipantI agree that this should be a huge year for Sidney if he’s in the shape that they say he’s in…
2 senior guys that I think are underrated and will play big this year are
Jae Cowder – Marquette – 6’8 power forward
Jamychal Green- Alabama 6’9 power forward/center

llperezglad you are showing some pac 12 love. The top 4 teams of ucla, washington, arizona and cal all are top 25 caliber and have a chance to win the conference. I hope the media shows the same love and puts all 4 in the top 25. Cal is the team probably gonna get most slept on but jorge guttierez and allan crabbe both have a chance to win pac 12 player of the year and should be a lethal perimter combo while big man harper kamp is also all confernce caliber.

Knicksboy3ParticipantI like this list, just a couple opinions
Memphis is a top 5 team. Most of that team back, then you throw a star wing with that and they could win the CUSA in a landslide.
UConn should be over UCLA right now. Other then the PF spot, I think UConn has all the better advantages position wise, also the Huskies have more depth IMO.

jonus grumbyParticipantI think you have Illinois a little low. Not saying they are top 15 or anything. I did not like their senior class. I think they were a weight around Webbers neck. He had to play them but they were not the talent that was needed. Now he is done with them and I think the other players will turn out to be a better team.
