I like Julius Hodge and all, always thought he might stick around on a NBA team, but you can see the divide between he and John Wall. Wall is on a different level, especially from the standpoint of playing against NBA competition.

Man for a guy of Hodge’s physique you’d think he’d be a stopper on defense. Looks like he’s 6’6 wiry with like a 6’10 wingspan atleast.. longggg arms for sure.

Cuzzcuzz, thats what a summer league like this is for. Showboating, one on one, having fun, trash talking and playing the game the way its played on the streets. Nothing to be upset or hateful about, its just b.ball man. And clearly all those injuries (and gun shot wounds) has taken a toll on Hodge at this point. Like that he still goes out there and wants to compete though. No hurt in that. Nice clip.

As an NC State fan I’ll be the first to tell you that Julius Hodge is a competitor and is someone who likes to have fun. Every last one of you go play a game of pickup ball or a game that doesn’t mean anything and this stuff goes on. It is all part of the show and is all in fun.

And Hodge looks like a great physical specimen. Good size, long arms, no body fat. I’m surprised he couldn’t carve out a niche in the NBA. He was a very good player in college.
