VarnishkisParticipantWe will see if Lithuania can CRUSH them again like they did 10 days ago by beeting them 30+ points… I am beeing realist and I think that it should be completelly different game today, and USA will concentrate much more on Jonas, by trying to play P.Young much more physical on him. We will see how Jonas can handle that! It will also depend how Lithuania’s PG Cizauskas can handle the ball averaging almost 5 tournovers per game… Jackson is going to have easy steals all day long…
Here is the link below… mind you the commentry is in Lithuanian…

paradigmnParticipant10 point lead for US…I’d say Patric Young and Jonas V played to a stale mate with 5 and 4 points respectively…Jeremy Lamb looked REAL GOOD…9 points in first quarter and really disrupted Lituania on the defensive end with his length.

VarnishkisParticipantMain PG for Lithuania Cizauskas absent so their SG has to dribble the ball all the time. Valanciunas has his points and is crushing the boards dominating Young and Leonard. Lamb looks really good, deadly shooter with some hoops too. Looks like USA is going to have this one… Without one of the main 3 players Lithuania can’t even pass the ball to Valanciunas good enough…

Memphis MadnessParticipantHow did Joe Jackson do? I have Memphis as my sleeper pick for the Final Four. Joe Jackson is doing well in the U-19 tournament, Will Barton is kicking butt in the Bluff City Classic and Tarik Black should be a beast next year. Adonis Thomas should be good as a small forward with some power, and if Wesley Witherspoon is healthy and can finally play his small forward position then I really like the Tigers’ depth and overall talent level.
I like Jeremy Lamb going back to school. I think he would have been a top 10-15 pick this year but next year he gets to be the MAN and to work on his overall game. I think he will be a better player for it.
Can’t wait for this year’s college basketball season. Should be great!

VarnishkisParticipantreminds me of Derick Rose, almost exact type of play just that JOE is as a smaller version, but the way he goes at the rim, mid range shot, dribbling exactly D.Rose style… Mind you he had a problems guarding lithuania’s taller guards so that his only drawback is his size… few inches would help him overall.
BUT WHAT A GAME!!! That was Final worth game, with huge performances from both teams. JONAS!!! 30pts + 15rebs + 4 Blk how about that? and Jeremy Lab found his shot with hitting buzzer beater with 1.7sec finishing with 37pts

cward23ParticipantLike Joe Jackson. His size isn’t is only draw back though. He struggled to make good pg decisions last year and had trouble scoring once he was game planned for. should be a first rounder after his Jr year imo
