The8thDeadlySinParticipantAll trades have been run through the trade machine via ESPN.com so dont asks if the money works…
Knicks get:
Boris Diaw
DJ AugustinBobcats get:
Chauncy Billups
Future 1st and 2nd round pick from different years. The Bobcats would buy out Chauncy so he can go on is way to play with whomever he wants. They got rid of 2 players that were going to steal time from their draft picks and hinder their development while also getting a couple picks… That first round pick wont be very high if everything works out for the Knicks. Now all the Bobcats would have to do is find a backup PG for Kemba and hope for the number 1 pick in next years draft.
The Knicks would get a nice young PG that could turn into their starter for the next few years and Mike D’Antoni gets a player that he loves coaching.. Once Chauncy is bought, the Knicks could try to resign him.. Probably wouldnt happen but they could try..Another:
Spurs get:
DJ Augustin
Eduardo Najera
Matt CarrolBobcats get:
Antonio McDyess
Thiago Splitter
Future 1st round pick. The Bobcats would most likely buy out McDyess and he would resign with the the Spurs. Then, with Splitter, they have another big man to groom with Biymbo. They get rid of a bad contract in Carrol and clear room for Kemba.. They also get younger with a future first round pick, which would probably be late in a draft, and Splitter is a young promising player
The Spurs recently traded their backup PG.. Unless they plan to play Gary Neel there for 20 min a night, they need another one.. With DJ, they get a young guy to learn from Tony Parker for the future and with Najera, they get a vetran player like Bonner that will work his butt off to win.. Carrol is a crazy shooter but wont crack the rotation.. Probably just a 15th man type guy for practice. Giving up a first round pick isnt much for the Spurs since they are trying to win now..Last one:
3 team deal
Bobcats get:
Michael Beasley76ers get:
Tyrus Thomas
Brad Miller
Future first round pick from Timberwolves
Future 2nd round pick from BobcatsTimberwolves get:
Andre IguodalaBobcats dump Tyrus to get Beasley.. Sounds good… Beasley will score for the time being and will earn his next contract.. He can help this team be more exciting without putting them behind as far as their youth movement.. Even with him, they are most likely still a lottery team. Augustin is still a problem but could be someone they could swing for another first round pick..
76ers get rid of Iggy to clear space for Turner and Young.. They get a decent C and a defensive minded PF that can slide to that C spot from time to time. Also, they get some picks for Iggy.
Timberwolves get rid of Beasley and Miller and luck into Iggy.. He would compliment every player on this team… He can play the 2 or the 3 and help Rubio’s adjustment to the NBA.. Perfect wing compliment for Love..Here come the neggs…

sammybuckeye13ParticipantTrade 1: Hard to see what Diaw would bring to the Knicks and if they took on Augustin he would likely take the reigns as the franchise point, but they’re aiming for Deron or Paul if not Dwight…and if Augustin is not going to be the franchise point and will just be a rental, would he really be better than Chauncey who averaged 17 and 5 last year, is a knock down shooter and Finals MVP? Getting Diaw and Augustin for Billups would get them an extra man, and they need players, but I don’t see it happening.
Trade 2: The Spurs are not going to trade Splitter unless they’re going to get a star in return, they’re grooming him to replace Duncan in a couple years and he had a great PER as a rookie, and they don’t need any of those Bobcats. They already have Parker and Joseph at the point so no need for D.J. and those other two are just scrubs.
Trade 3: Fair for Bobcats and TWolves, wildly unfair for Phily.

mds0549ParticipantWhy would the Wolves pick up another SF when that is a position they are loaded at? Iggy has the defensive mindset that they need but doesn’t solve any problems.

4hff4f427ParticipantWell, since your welcoming Bobcat trade ideas, heres one thought(from a Piston fan):
CHARLOTTE RECIEVES: Richard Hamilton and Austin Daye
DETROIT RECIEVES: Boris Diaw and Eduardo Najera
You guys get a starting 2-gaurd to go with Augustin/Walker at the point and Maggette at SF. Plus, you still have Ty Thomas and Biyombo/Diop at center. Meanwhile, we clear the logjam we have at the 2-gaurd, free up a little salary cap room, plus we get some frontline help.
Not sure if that’s what you were hoping for but I think it at least might be worth a shot.

BasketBalAllanParticipantIf you switch the third trade to a first round pick from the Bobcats I would love that trade for all teams.
Also, Why could Iggy not play SG for the Wolves?
