i don’t count RESTRICTED cause they not really Free agents and i don’t count player options cause they still not Free agents…

    Top 20:

    1. Tyson Chandler – now championship caliber center.

    2. Jason Richardson – prolific scorer, proven as a quality playoff player with Phoenix.

    3. Caron Butler – when healthy, high level 3 man, borderline allstar.

    4. Tayshaun Prince – great all-around game, bring defense, iq, great piece at SF for winning team.

    5. Jamal Crawford – established as a top sixth man who give offensive power, i were disappoint with his playoff performance but whatever.

    6. Shane Battier – top level defender, 3 point shooter and smart player, could help for any team to get better.

    7. Carl Landry – quite ballhog, but very good scorer and finisher.

    8. J.R. Smith – very talanted scorer but so inconsistent.

    9. Grant Hill – coming to age of 40 but still contributor at high level at both ends.

    10. Josh Howard – after season rehabilitation should come stronger.

    11. Yao Ming – sad storry, hope for a miracle.

    12. Michael Redd – very little chance he will be back to at least good form, but maybe.

    13. Kenyon Martin – could be a great complementary big for a strong team.

    14. Yi Jianlian – the potential is there, need to make a change in his mind as a player and also to find good place for him but if does he could make a breakout a la Channing Frye.

    15. Glan Davis – championship and playoff experience, know how to make plays to help the team win.

    16. Kris Humphries – rebounding and energy present.

    17. Shawne Williams – work himself to being a great outside shooter.

    18. Delonte West – i like his game, smart, fearless, could play both guard position.

    19. J.J. Barea – make a name for himself, some playmaking ability but mostly offensive spark off the bench.

    20. Chuck Hayes – one of my favorites, at 6’6" he is one of the best post defenders in the league, great character and leader to have on your team.

didn’t make the list but worthy of note:

Tracy McGrady, DeShawn Stevenson, Al Thornton, Josh McRoberts, Mike Dunleavy, Nazr Mohammed, Kwame Brown, Anthony Parker, Mike Bibby, Troy Murphy, Willie Green, Chris Wilcox, T.J. Ford, Shelden Williams.

Butler and Crawford should be top 3. J Rich is on hte decline, and JJ should be 10.

Michael Redd shouldn’t be in top 20 IMO.

With the addition of Rudy Fernandez that might’ve hurt JJ Barea’s bargaining with the Mavericks…They started JJ becuz they need scoring and someone to drive to the basket..Fernandez can also do both plus he’s a few inches taller..JJ should return to Dallas becuz even though he played great in the finals..Not many teams have a need for a 5’11 shooting guard..He’s like Shannon Brown ,who should resign with the Lakers..They gave him an indentity after bouncing around and being out of the league.. Brown has too many holes in his game to be a full time starter…

JJ Barea is a PG.  He is an above average passer with good ballhandling and is very quick. He is great off the dribble.  He has all the qualities of a point.  Don’t know where you get SG from.
