jonus grumbyParticipantI realize with first rounders getting guaranteed money late 1’s don’t have a lot of value. Just wondering if the Bulls offered their 2 late first rounders how far could they hope to move up?

Memphis MadnessParticipantThey might be able to move up to 22 or 23. Probably not higher than that.
The main thing the Bulls need to do is sign Afflalo or another good shooting guard. Shelvin Mack would help. He might be there at 28 too. Singler might be another good pickup as a 6th man type or they could get one of the bigger forwards.

JoeWolf1I’ve had my eye on Mack for one of the Bulls picks for quite some time. I think he’d be a very good fit, but I think Singler is too similar to Korver as far as his projection as a pro. I think depth at C,PF and SF is the way they should go with their other pick. JaJuan Johnson, and Harper could be a good stretch 4’s, Jordan Williams could give them some extra rebounding and there really aren’t a lot of SF’s that would be there for their 1st round picks.
I hope Chicago somehow gets Jimmy Butler at #44, that would be a big time steal IMO

HitsterParticipantI know we have talked about the possibility of a deal with the Knicks for the 17th pick but realistically that might be as far as they could move up. With this being considered a weaker draft teams may not want to move down too low and with first round contracts being guaranteed then actually low 2nd rounders are perhaps more appealing to teams.
Maybe New Jersey’s 27th and 36th pick for the Bulls 28th and 30th so NJ gets two first rounders and the Bulls get a better late first round pick and can maybe take a stasher at 36. Perhaps Charlotte might do a deal for both picks for 19th and off load 39th pick as well.
I do wonder whether they might try to pull a trade to possibly upgrade at SG as they have these two picks, one due from Charlotte and all their own first rounders.
A very long shot might be to try and get an extra 2012 first rounder for these two first rounders. A team without a pick this year might be interested perhaps?

JoeWolf1I think Reggie Jackson’s floor is #27 to NJ, If Chicago could move up I think he’d be a good fit in Chicago as a bench scorer.

Chilbert arenasParticipantI bet they use one pick for a player who can come in and play next year and either trade the other pick or use it on a European that they can stash away for a couple years.
