cward23ParticipantAnthony Bennett 6’8 about 230. Watched both of these kids a couple of times this summer( and played against Bennett) and he his the best player from Canadia. This guy is a monster. He hit’s threes with ease, powers down the lane and bangs on people. He goes all out for the whole game and plays very good defense. This past weekend he was one of the two best players at the Pangos All-American camp( the other being this kid from vegas Named Shabazz he is another straight monster)

WinterSoldierParticipantYou don’t compare someone from the 2012 class to the class 2014 two years a lot of difference in development. For his age and skill level Wiggins is a better prospect.

cward23ParticipantYou do if People keep saying Wiggans is the best player in Canadia right now( which there have been many post). This post isn’t about potential or years down the line its an answer to who is the best player right now.
Actually people were comparing who the best player in Canada was when Pango’s(kid going to Gonzaga) was in H.S and they were Three years apart.

mikeyvthedonParticipantWhile you are probably right, your delivery was off. I guess you went to Pangos (apparently), but the kid named Shabazz from Vegas is Shabazz Muhammad, and he is widely considered if not the top prospect in the class, in the top 3 as a wing. Bennett had a huge Pangos from everything I heard, and he has apparently greatly improved his game over the past year. He plays for CIA Bounce in AAU ball, and they finished 1st in their division with Bennett as their leading scorer, with Wiggins, Xavier Rathan-Mayes, Dyshawn Pierre and Sim Bhullar all providing solid contributions.
They also played on the Canadian U-16 team last summer, with Anthony being the second leading scorer for the team at 13.2 ppg (Kevin Pangos, a soon to be Gonzaga frosh, lead the team at 15.8 pg) and Andrew Wiggins averaging 8.1. Wiggins may be the better prospect, but Anthony appears to be a more developed player right now, and is much more physically imposing. It is awesome you have insight on him, and that you played against him, but it is much easier to sound convincing doing so by doing your research. Just go to scout.com and get there names right and info, than people would love to hear more of what you have to say. Otherwise, it sounds like you do not exactly know what you are talking about. If you have played with these guys or have seen them, than we would really like to hear about it, provided we can get information from it without us having to guess what or who you are talking about.

mikeyvthedonParticipantThat is really it? I mean, you have nothing to say about how you see him developing, where you see him playing in college positionally, things he could work on? You just make a post to say he is better than Andrew Wiggins? Why not put in some insight and some knowledge rather than just making incredibly generalized statements. Like, both teams played hard, but I am not going to make a topic about it. They gave it all they got. It ain’t over til it’s over. If a tree falls in the woods and no one is around, does it make a sound? Just feel like you could have maybe given more insight than simply saying, "He is better than Andrew Wiggins right now….." and spouting the same things every scouting service wrote about him at Pangos. But, I appreciate the insight.
