    Do we take Jonas Valanciunas? IMO it to big a risk for the cavs to take. He seems to be a project player whos very raw on both sides of the court.

    Do we take a wing player like Leonard or Vesley? Im not high on either. I think both are very raw offensively and would reaches at four.

    I think the best option would be to shop the pick. The could be a number of teams looking to trade up and grab Brandon Knight.

    Either Valanciunas, Kawhi Leonard, or Jan Vesely. would be good choices.

    I’d honestly rather they take Alec Burks given they have a starting calibre C for the future in Semih Erden, Varejao at the moment, and a rich crop of SFs available in the lottery next year.

    That or the "Euro-Lebron" would be interesting to see.

    Honestly, I think he’ll be in the top 5 of this draft class in a few years time, so not really. He’s one of the few players with legitimate star potential as a scorer in this draft. Even if it is a reach, every player available at 4 would be a reach if they selected Irving and don’t need a PG.

      With things back to normal, the Spurs can reasonably expect to improve this year. Whether it’s enough to compete with the Lakers and Thunder remains to be seen. There’s always urgency in San Antonio because Duncan, while still more than serviceable, is not getting better with age. He signed on for another two years with a player option for a third, but Manu Ginobili is a free agent at season’s end. This could be the last year we see the Spurs led by the big three of Duncan, Ginobili, and Tony Parker. They’re very well aware of that, as well, and they will undoubtedly want to make the most of what could be their last season together.

     I would take Burks over Leonard.  Burks is more skilled and is actually the better athlete.  Leonard is a mid first round pick in any other draft.  

    But this is why the Cavs should take Williams first and Brandon Knight 4th.   If not then Vessely and even Biyombo are good options.  But I would also try and trade the 4th pick to the Bobcats for the 9th and 19th, then they’re looking at adding Marcus Morris and Marshon Brooks to their roster who are definite upgrades.

      Or how about the 4th pick to Washington for #6 & #18? I’ve heard some people talk about that.

      Good call on taking Williams No 1. I still don’t see why people can’t understand that Sessions and Baron Davis are solid PGs. I’ll grant that Davis has injury problems, but Sessions played well starting and off the bench.

      (If Kantor isn’t available,) Brandon Knight gives the Cavs a shooter that can also do PG duties. While it’s not usually good to have two guys that distribute on the court at one time, Knight is enough of a SG that he should do well there. I would prefer taking Knight rather than trading for 2 lower picks. While having two gives you better odds of success, that No 4 pick seems difficult to give up.

     If they could trade it for two 1st Rounders this year or a 1st Rounder this year and next year it will be a good move.

    If they take Kyrie #1 overall, look for us to trade down about 3 maybe 4 spots and select a player like Alec Burks, Kawhi Leonard, or even Klay Thompson. 

    What I would rather us do, is take Derrick Williams #1 cus that leaves us with more options if Kanter is taken.  With the addition of Baron, our PG play will be better.  Drafting williams #1 gives us an immediate fill in a spot of need, SF.  Then that would give us the option of landing say Brandon Knight, or even trading down to get a huge outside threat in Fredette. 

    I know everyone loves the thought of having Kyrie, however B-Knight is just as young and has just as much potential, so by taking williams at #1, it gives us more options in this draft to add young, quality players.

     Yeah I’m a big Kid Kyrie fan but I just cannot reason picking him over Derrick Williams.  Especially considering Brandon Knight’s ceiling may be just as high.  

    But the real reason is because Derrick Williams is the clear cut first pick this year, and Cleveland needs him and his intensity.  And next year they got a shot at Austin Rivers, Marquise Teague, Mich Kabongo, Kendell Marshall, or even Maalik Waynes. 

    No way Washington would trade them 2 picks to move up 2 slots.  The Bobcats just might tho.
