Breaking news is that Kembal Walker cancelled his head to head with Jimmer at Sacramentoe this week. He’s not hurt, he just doesn’t want to play against Jimmer.

My take on this is it has nothing to do with Kemba, who is a classy, fearless player who’d like nothing better than to fight it out with Jimmer.

It’s his chickensh*t agent who doesn’t want Kemba’s stock to go down if Jimmer plays him even or even plays a little better. I honestly can’t see Jimmer dominating Walker, or vice versa for that matter. They’re both terrific players.

It’s just like the Irving thing at the combine, the agents don’t want to take a chance of their player losing any stock at all.

I think it’s a mistake and doesn’t look good for Kemba, who is as classy a kid as you could ever find. And I think it’s a shame that agents are so scared of losing a buck or two, and calling the shots where the players are at any risk at all. Sometimes it seems the players are working for the agents, and not vice versa.

Just to set things straight, I’m a huge Jimmer fan but I think Kemba is a great player as well. May they both have good NBA careers despite the machinations of their agents.

Lol how is a fun game of one on one going to hurt his stock?

Austin Rivers can come in and beat some NBA guards RIGHT NOW, so can Jimmer and Kemba does that mean those players should be kicked out of the NBA? No it just means each NBA player has certain attributes that make them good and that is why they are there.

It just seems like there’s nothing to be gained from playing Jimmer; Kemba’s stock isn’t going to be helped too much unless he thoroughly dominates Jimmer, but as that’s somewhat unlikely, this would have only helped Jimmer raise his stock a little. While it is a little disappointing that the agreed and then backed out, it certainly makes sense from Kemba’s standpoint.

Jimmer is being totally overblown like any other great white hype. The guy will be out of the league as quick as Adam Morrison.

Disclaimer: This is not a racially motivated post just my strong opinion

Inside Sources are saying Toronto has given Kemba a promise at number 5…And word is going around that the Kings want either Leonard or Jimmer..The Maloofs would rather have Jimmer, they think he’ll be a great fit next to Evans,he feels their need for outside shooting and he has star quality…

You guys that gave me a negative vote on this thread are phonies and hypocrites, though I could care less what you think. I was very clear to say I didn’t think Kemba wanted this it was agent driven and I also gave props to Kemba for the great player he is. The point is that agents drive the workouts to the detrement of the players more often than not.

But it seems that reverse racisim is rampant, Jimmer can’t be as good as Kemba because he’s white, and if it had been Jimmer that backed out of the workout, you guys would be all over Jimmer because he’s crap and chickensh*t as well. If Kemba backs out, it’s a smart move. Bullcrap.

Both players will have good NBA careers regardless of what the haters say. Feel free to keep those negative votes coming because it just proves my point how myopic and bigoted some people are.

I’m sick of the Kings looking for a point guard in this draft to play with Evans, Thornton, and Beno.

I much rather seem them draft Bismack Biyombo and pair him up with DeMarcus Cousins. Resign Dalemburt, the Kings would have a nice front line.

I’m not sure who would win, but I do think Walker is a better player particularly because he’s more athletic, quicker, and he’s a better ball handler than Freddette.

Dalembert is probably going to a contender(Miami) or he’s going back to fimilar territory(Philly, Jersey or Toronto)…they have two good young bigs in Cousins and Thompson and of course Evans set at Sg, they are a nice position to draft a Pg this year and find their Sf or Pf in next years draft(Terrence Jones or Anthony Davis)…the Kings need a their floor general, Evans is not a Pg…THE KINGS NEED BRANDON KNIGHT…if they have to trade up to get him they have to do it…now about Kemba dropping out of his 1 on 1 with Jimmer because his agent doesn’t want to hurt his stock lol…Irony any one…

Where are your sources regarding Kemba’s promise to Toronto. I’m from Toronto and I haven’t seen that written anywhere.

If they want a Pg that Badly and I can see why, they could just trade up for Irving or Knight or trade down for Jimmer…taking Kemba 5th overall though, I can’t see how that helps the Raps any this year or even next, Walker is not a make a team mates better Pg, he’s a shot making G that needs the ball a lot to be highly effective, Derozen and Bargs need that for sure * sarcasm alert * the Wolves would probably trade The 2nd pick overall for The 5th pick and Jerryd Bayless…The Bobcats would trade the Raps the 9th and 19th picks for 5th overall, the Cats draft who want top 5 amd the Raps get Jimmer 9th and a Sf or C with the 19th pick…

He has zero to gain by going against a player who is projected to go later than him. If it was Irving then im sure Kemba’s agent would be more than happy to set the workout up.

Kemba’s agent is retarded. With Jimmer’s D, the best Jimmer could do is play him even. Jimmer is an amazing offensive player, dont get me wrong, but simple math tells you that Kemba will probably play better than Jimmer. Good shooters in the NBA shoot at 45-50% from the field. With Jimmers D, we can extend that 10 percent, so lets say They both turn the ball over the same amount of times, and Kemba shoots lets say 57%. And I have heard Kemba is a decent defender, so lets say Jimmer does pretty well, makes 55% of his shots, Kemba still shoots a higher percentage. So I really dont see many ways that Kemba’s stock could dramatically fall. And just a side note, Aran has Fredette’s defense ranked at 7, but Kemba’s 6. Can someone explain that to me?

Kemba plays ok defense and so does Jimmer. Kemba looked a lot better because he had big guys to help him out when he got beat whick was quite a bit actually. If you don’t believe me then watch this youtube scouting report on Kemba:

Kemba’s agent would be dumb to let him match up against Jimmer. THERE IS NOTHING TO GAIN. That’s why they are agents and all of us are just fans. Its a business decision. You don’t just say ” my client isn’t scared to go against anyone” thats a dumb business decision to go one on one because of pride.
