The8thDeadlySinParticipantSince the Wolves are finaly getting Rubio, they have an excess of quality PGs.. They need a SG and a C to be a contender.. IMO, they need a center more than a SG.. Johnson has looked good lately..
So, the Wolves have some nice trade bait here.. Flynn plus the 2nd pick, Kanter, for your team if you want them?? Are you a young team with a great PF/SF/SG and you need those other pieces to complete your rebuilding process?? Here is your chance!!
Flynn is a high character player who knows how to win.. He is energetic and dynamic with a keen sence for charming people.. Pair him with Kanter, a nice powerful PF/C who has much to prove and the ability to do so!! In a few years, your young team could be playing for a RING!!
Place your bids!!!

The8thDeadlySinParticipantWell my thought process is that they want to win asap and not build a rookie C… Maybe I am wrong though…

boshjonesfordParticipantPG – Ricky Rubio
SG – ???
SF – Beasley + Johnson (tow young sf – they should trade one with jonny flynn for a sg)
PF – Kevin Love
C – Enas Kanter
just keep Kanter and trade one of the small forwards with flynn as a raptor fan i would give a pachage that including Ed Davis (a defensive big which they lack) for flynn and johnson

Troupa DupsParticipantIn a million years i wouldn’t trade Ed Davis for Kanter/Flynn….not a chance!

WizardofOzParticipantKanter and Love are not a good fit. They would be TERRIBLE defenseively!

TheLastWordParticipantMinny would be taking a huge chance on Kanter as he is not a defensive center. Doesnt have the length or hops to seriously challenge shots. Al Jefferson put up 20 and 10 next to Love and they won what? 18 games?

nath09ParticipantOden, Roy and 2 sets of crutches..lol
I’m keeping Kanter. I’m starting Flynn for the opening of the season, I’m building him up so he has trade value then send him off with Either Beasley, Randolph or Johnson.

ghettosermonParticipantFlynn’s trade value at this point is non existent. He is like picking Randy Foye all over again, will never have the PG skills to be a long term starting PG. Funny enough the 3rd PG they drafted and threw away, Ty Lawson, appears to be the one on track in his NBA career.

butidonthavemoneyUtah turned down a Raja Bell/Jonny Flynn deal last season.

derozan10Participantmaybe twolves could trade down to pick up a defensive minded centre like jonas

The Scare Crow ReturnsParticipantThat’s a good package to start with, adding the Second Pick ( Kanter or Williams ) makes it very sweet, now who has a Sg worthy of trading for and do they have a center as well…I think the Clippers and Wolves should look at a Flynn/Johnson and Kanter for Gordon/Jordan swap…the Wolves get a scoring Sg and defender next to Love, the Clippers get A young pg, Sg/Sf and the 2nd pick in the draft for Kanter or Williams, the Clippers also own Minnesota’s pick next year and can make up for losing Gordon by drafting Barnes or Rivers with the pick, who knows where the Clippers draft next year, they are the Clippers….The Wolves should keep all their talent and picks, if I was Kaun I’d draft Kanter at 2 and offer Flynn/Johnson and the 20th pick for a young Sg…My key targets would be Mayo, Harden, Turner, Derozen and Evans, I know most of those guys are untouchable to most people but maybe a team like the Raptors or Grizzlies takes a deal for Derozen or Mayo, the Raptors would love to add Flynn, Johnson and the 20th pick, they have a long way to go and must dump the Contracts of Calderon and Bargnani in the process, losing Derozen for an athletic backcourt (Flynn/Johnson) and wingman with the 20th pick (Harris, Honeycutt or Hamilton???) would’nt be that bad when u figure they will add another high pick next year…

forrestjParticipantMonta Eliss For Flynn the 2nd and the 20th Picks of the 2011 NBA draft.
Trade the 2nd the 20th Dorell Wright and Andris Biedrins for Andre Iguodala
With the 11th Pick select Chris Singleton out of Florida State.
With the salary cap space from the Monta trade sign Nene.
It’s being reported that Jerry West, Larry Riley, and Joe Lacob flew to interview Mike Budenholzer. Hopefully we hire him.
2011 starting line-up
Curry/Iguodala/Singleton/Lee/Nene with Williams, Udoh, and others coming off the bench.

Specialt25ParticipantWhat the Wolves need is a Good "head coach" to lead this team.
They have talent in every position except center.
Pg – Rubio will be a very good pg and Ridnour can be his backup
Sg/Sf – Wes Johnson and Martell Webster are good at this position
Sf/Pf – Beasley is not a good character guy but scores at will.
Pf- Love is a great PF.
C – Milicec can be a good backup.
Trade bait – Johnny Flynn
NEEDS: head coach , Veteran SG, and Starting Center.
They should draft Derrick Williams if availabe and trade him for a veteran Center or Veteran Sg.
Kanter wont help anyone right away. tooo raw! In the nba he will have a hard time scoring inside but he does hussle so thats great.
Dont forget the wolves are under the cap and can sign a good player in free agency also.

the I in winParticipantJust because the Wolves have money doesn’t mean they actually get to spend it. Who wants to go to Minnisota? Average players who are looking for more than average money.

Memphis MadnessParticipantKeep Kanter and shop Flynn. With Kanter, Love, and Rubio the team will at least be entertaining. Honestly, with Love, Beasley, and Rubio I don’t think that team screams "defense" anyway. They probably just need to outscore and outrebound everyone. With that in mind they should take Kanter at 2 (if Derrick Williams is off the board) and then a shooting guard at 20.
Not sure what they can get for Flynn. Might as well hold onto him another year and use him as a designated speed guy, because their starting unit might be as slow as the MINNEAPOLIS LAKERS.
