    I know this is early and its not set in stone, and anything could happen but here are some info

    Mavs

    Dirk– 0-1 in finals 2006 lost  against the heat(4-2), 2nd appearance

    Jet-0-1 in finals 2006 lost  against the heat(4-2), 2nd appearance

    J-kidd-0-2(Nets) 2002 lost against lakers(4-0), 2003 loat against spurs(4-2), 3rd appearance

    players with no experience– Chandler,Butler,Marion,Haywood,Stevenson,Brewer,Barea,Beaubois,Jones,Mahami,Cardinal,Peja

    Heat

    Lebron– 0-1(cavs) 2007 lost against Spurs(4-0), 2nd appearance

    Wade– 1-0 2006 Finals MVP,champions against Mavs(4-2), 2nd appearance

    Haslem– 1-0 2006 champs against mavs(4-2) 2nd appearance

    Z. Ilgauskas– 0-1(cavs) lost to spurs(4-0) 2nd appearance

    E.House– 1-0(celtics) 2008 beat lakers(4-2), 2nd appearance

    hah wierd that only the jet and dirk were on the mavs and wade and haslem were on the heat during the last finals…

    Dampier was on the mavs too now on the heat, but yeah theres few players from last matchup, if you being sarcastic this is from this years possible matchup and your missing the point

    damn for some reason i thought j-kidd already had a ring…i think they dont mention it enough how he deserves one a lot too, not just dirk

    Interesting, but assuming both teams win, it’s kind of cool to see the re-match, but kind of different since the faces are so different. I’ll be pulling for the Mavs, but not sure how it turns out. I hate to be one of those "what if" guys, but I think if Caron Butler was healthy that the Mavs would definitely win. He pushes Marion to the bench which gives them more depth, adds scoring and wing defense. It’s kind of the same reason I am glad Haslem is healthy. I can’t stand the Heat, but you like to see teams at full strength when they are contenders, especially in basketball because there are so few guys on the team. I like when teams don’t have to wonder what would have been if they lose because a guy was hurt, similiar to the Celtics the prior two years.

    Im not particularly a JKidd fan, but how did he not win MVP during the two seasons he led Nets to final appearances?
