Was Scotty Hopson impressive?  What was your overall feeling watching him play? 1st round pick, early 2nd, late 2nd, undrafted?

    How did DeAndre Liggins do?

Who was the most impressive PG?, SG?, SF?, PF?, C?

Thanks, I haven’t had a chance to watch any of it.

Is Scotty Hopson there? I haven’t seen him at all.

Liggins looks good athletically of course. And he brings prototype size for a SG.

No players have really stood out as a best in the position really. Everyone’s just going through drills at less than 100% intensity.

Kanter might move up.  If the Cavs take Irving at 1, then there is a good chance that Williams and Kanter go 2 and 3 then the Cavs are left to pick among Knight and Kemba Walker.  Not sure the Cavs maximize their draft value by picking two point guards.

So maybe they look at taking Kanter or Williams with the first pick.  With Kanter they get a legit center with upside who can score inside.  Then they get one of these 3 guys: Williams, Irving, Knight.  So either a point guard or a legit forward with lots of upside with their pick at #4.  They get their franchise big man (center) and a long-term solution at point guard (Irving or Knight) or the kind of great athlete at the 3 that teams need now to compete (Derrick Williams).

Those two picks (Kanter plus the #4 pick) along with JJ Hickson would give the Cavs a good core.  They have some good complimentary players up front with shotblockers/bangers Andy Varejao and Ryan Hollins.  Plus a promising athletic wing in Eyenga.  Play those guys major minutes along with Baron Davis, then add a couple of pieces in the second round.  Then next year, get another guy to complete the core (either a wing guy or a point guard).
