I know there are some really bad contracts out there but who is the worst???

Some of the bad ones I can think of:

    Rashard Lewis
    Baron Davis
    Marvin Williams

Who is the worst in the league?

It has to be arenas. He is nowhere near the player he used to be and has become a complete joke around the league

After this last playoff series, Boozer would be hard to get rid of at about 15 per for the next 4 years.

Rashard Lewis, because now he has injuries, a declining game overall and a huge contract. He will be the most tradeable player in 2012-2013 because of his expiring contract though. I also think Ben Gordon is very overpaid. 10-13 million a year for one of the most one-dimensional players in the league?????

    It’s Brandon Roy.

The ink on the contract of his max deal is still fresh and his knees are a walking timebomb.

I also wouldn’t touch Joe Johnson.

I think someone would take that risk on Joe Johnson, but I agree with Roy and Arenas. Both men are SHOT.

Rahsard, 2nd to none next year except kobe….

    Otis’s awsome.

Then dumars’s a genious too, Rip 2 years 25 MD, gordon 3 years 37MD, gave afflalo for a 2nd rounder to sign those gordon-charlie V…after the AI move, that hurt badly.

Detroit Pistons Gordon, Rip, Charlie V, Maxiell.  Joe Johnson the Hawks outbid themselves if they gave him 105 million for 5 yrs that would’ve been more than any other team.  Funny how when Boozer signed ppl thought that was a good signing but he still has 60 million still left on the contract after an unenve yr and 1st round.  Haywood has 35 mill and 4 yrs left, 5th year is a team option.  Tough contract but at least he’s not Eddy Curry he actually plays.  I’d rather have Haywood then Arenas thats for sure.  Beno Udrih 2 yrs 15 million he’s worth 1/3 of that.

maxiell is untradable?? u on crack, hes a great post defender and is WELL worth his paycheck?? gordon was puttin up bad numbers because rip started ahead of him and he averaged like 20 mins a game.. i think rip could easily be traded next year because of his expiring contract…

but i have to completely agree with charlie V…

    gilbert arenas and brendan haywood.

no one in their right mind would take haward for 5 years and 10 mil. when he has no upside.

teams might be stupid enough to gamble on arenas as we saw with orlando.

true no one wants Haywood but I bet the Magic wouldn’t mind having him over Arenas.

Also it 4 yrs and 35 million not 5 yrs 50 million.

The Cancer Patient himself. Villanueva is the one of the most pathetic players in the league. Not only did his play and contract made him untradeable, his female dog ways in the home finale against Cleveland sealed his fate. Good going, Joe D! Keep up the good work!

Michael Redd is a free agent, Bucks tried to move him but he got hurt so he was unable to be traded. Redd made 17 mill this past year. Dont you think alot of teams would love to have that contract come off there books.

As much as I love my guy, and although you guys have said some better names like Brandon Roy and Agent 0, I think Andre Iguodala is hard to trade. Philly has been shopping him for 2 or 3 years now. He’s clearly not the All-Star player most thought he’d develop into when Iverson left (more of a 3rd or 4th option really), and he has a just under Max deal. He’s been hard to trade, especially for a guy who’s a compliment as opposed to a true frachise talent.

When I read the forum topic, Gilbert Arenas sprang to mind. Lots of players are on huge contracts but they are All Star/Franchise players or still offer a lot to their team. Elton Brand was in the bad contract category last year but after a solid season and another year gone on his contract, suddenly he looks in a better situation.

As regards Iggy, I’d guess that the 76ers have had trade offers but not for the value that they want.

Brendan Haywood is another bad contract but Dallas always overpay their bigs and Mark Cuban has deep pockets.

The Wizards shifted all their bad contracts within a year and although they took on Lewis’s huge deal, they shifted Arenas so will save money longer term and Lewis could have nice trade value down the line.

Indiana had a load of bad contracts but all have expired this year and the Knicks were in a right mess until Donnie Walsh went in and sorted their cap out.

"David Lee isn’t bad at all. He’s a great player…."

But he’s VERY overrated. I laughed when people said the Knicks should have kept him instead of signing Stoudemire.

Yea, I remember when ppl on the site got wild saying David Lee was gonna be better then Amar’e Stoudemire this season.

I think Lee is good, just need him and Curry to develop that P/R game. They had some magic first half of the season, then he got hurt and it went downhill from there. I remember Lee having like 30-15 vs Ibaka and OKC late in the season, so he can have some success.

It’s got to be Marvin Williams, from everything I hear they tried to move him at the deadline but noone would touch him and he is the former #2 pick overall.
