NYFLAVA2K9ParticipantBarnes, McAdoo, Henson, Zeller = SCARY

Bryant24ParticipantAs a carolina fan i know we goin to receive alot of hype next season but with all this talent we got if we dont win next year the season is a complete failure in my opinion.

NYCarolinaParticipantMe too Bryant. That’s the scary part. I kinda want Jones and Knight to go back to Kentucky, just so they have alot of hype as well.

omphalosParticipantKentucky will have a lot of hype regardless, they have two guys who would be under consideration for the number one draft pick on their roster and at least one more who would be top ten in Teague. Barnes is taking a risk here by returning; if he can’t deliver with this team it could have an Adam Morrison type effect where it just kills his confidence. It’s a lot easier to take losing as an underdog than the favourite.

NJHooper95ParticipantDont forget to add Desmond Hubert to that list in the Frontcourt. A 6’10 Shot block wiz out of New Jersey. He needs to add some more weight, but he gives the Tarheels another body out there. Carolina has the size but shooting is still an area of concern for the big, talented, Tarheels.

morgatilParticipantUNC will be great and all, but if Jones and Knight return; UNC is going to have their hands full with Kentucky. If those 2 return, is it possible that the UK vs UNC game has the most potential will be pros ever? Kentucky would be as close to loaded as the 96 team that had like 9 pros on it. UNC will also have, what…. 7-8 guys that should eventually be in the league?
I know a lock out would suck, but it would make ncaa basketball next year incredible.

TooNice4TVParticipantMarquis Teague
Brandon Knight
Michael Gilchrist
Terrence Jones
Anthony DavisDoron Lamb
Kyle Wiltjer
Darius Miller
Deandre LigginsIf this is the lineup they are bringing next year, they are going to have one of the most versatile teams in the NCAA.
The only thing I’m wondering is if they have an actual C to step in for them as Harrellson is gone.. But what if Kanter comes back?
0 - Posted on: Mon, 04/18/2011 - 7:41am #522745

omphalosParticipantKanter was ruled permanently ineligible, he can’t come back.

Real Talk Real TrophiesParticipantThat would be fresh if kanter was able to play too, but ncaa already ruled against him. The center spot is the real concern for UK, that is why NC would have the advantage. Zeller would have a field day like he did in the elite 8. Next year we (UK) are gonna be even more run and gun! It will be interesting to see who returns and who goes
