Dale WorthingtonParticipant39 tonight against the Heatles.
5/8 from 3 land and 10/10 from the charity stripe.
He’s now 4th among rookies in PPG.

ghettosermonParticipantHe’s averaging 14.6 ppg since becomming a Wizard. The 37% from the field, and 18 % from three are flat out ugly though. He definitely needs to work on efficiency as he won’t be able to shoot as much next year when the Wizards are full strenght, still though he has a ton of scoring ability. He just needs to learn that not every shot is a good shot, and while he has displayed underrated PG skills, he needs to work on decision making. I definitely think he has a future as a big time scoring 6th man who can both backup Wall and play alongside him. Wizards absolutely stole him from my Hawks. Mike Bibby, Mo Evans, and the Hawks first rounder should have been more than enough to get Hinrich, instead the Hawks decided to throw in Crawford as well who the Wizards were demanding. As a front office you have to show some back bone. With Jamal Crawford set to make a crap load of money, Jordan would have been a younger and far cheaper alternative, and would allow the Hawks to go for a big man or SF instead.

Dale WorthingtonParticipantWell said, ghettosermon.

llperezhad no idea he was even traded to the wizards. Just looked and he is averaging about 20ppg over his last 12 games.

Michael.S.ParticipantHe’s a ball hog and not even a good one.

Da1potParticipantHe’s a good insurance policy in case Nick Young leaves as a free agent or gets traded, though i think they should keep both for now.

WizardofOzParticipantAgree with ghettosermon. He’s been scoring at a high rate, but inefficiently. He’s a talent though. He’s a combo-guard that’s quick and has good athleticism. A lot of times will suffer tunnel vision when driving to the lane, but he’s surprisingly a good passer with good court vision. He’s a chucker though and plays kind of wild. He needs to work on his jumpshot too. But he’s still very young and will have a lot of time to work on his flaws.

Dale WorthingtonParticipantYeah, I, too, saw some nice passes and court vision from him on Youtube.
I was surprised that he wasn’t getting more assists. I guess that’s John Wall’s job.

Da1potParticipantHe’s got great hangtime on his two footed leaps and body control in the air also and coan finish with contact even though he’s not the strongest guy

ghettosermonParticipantHe actually did better when he first became a Wizard and Nick Young/Josh Howard weren’t hurt. Since he has been getting starter minutes his shot selection has become horrific. I am absolutely shocked at his horrific 18% three point shooting. At Xavier he shot 39% and seemed to have limitless range. Making huge shots far beyond the college 3. In the NBA however his 3 point shot has been horrible. No real explanation for it. On the plus side however he has a great runner/mid range game, and he has a nice post up game for a guard. Pretty decent playing the passing lanes as well.

WizardofOzParticipantYeah ghettosermon. I though coming out of Xavier, that 3-point shooting was his biggest strength (even though I only watched him once in that K-State game in the tourney in college). And in the game where he scored 30 on my Wiz in preseason, if I’m not mistaken, I think most of his shots were jumpshots.

Meditated StatesParticipantHe can get buckets. You put him on the court and give him minutes and he is gonna score in any league.

sheltwon3ParticipantI am sure next season, his shooting numbers should be better. You have to realize that he is probably not used to all these minutes and also, the Wiz are a bad team and someone has to be a gunner. I think Crawford defends and passes better than Young and Young will probably leave or get moved eventually. He could also come off the bench but I think it would be good for Young to get a change of scenery

NYK2010ParticipantStupid title for a thread God really.
The Wiz made a nice trade with the Hawks to get Crawford.

M-DYMESParticipantI was taking a little bit of heat on here for saying that I see him as a player with the talent of JR Smith, but with a better attitude. That attitude will translate to better consistency IMO. I could see him eventually being what JR could be if he put his mind to it. He has all the tools as a scorer, and with this being his rookie year, his future looks scary.

TallmanNYCParticipantGot him on my fantasy team. That 39 was quite a nice surprise for my playoff run.

HROT88ParticipantKind of like the run Marcus Thorton had at the end of the year last year when CP3 was out?

ProudGrandpaParticipantHe’d be better if he lost a few
