festar35ParticipantI know Blake Griffin gets all the highlights and media attention but since Gordon has been injured the Clippers have been struggling. His ability to close out games has sorely been missed.
Is there a more overshadowed or underrated player in the NBA?

dolla130Participanthe is one of the most overshadowed players in the league if not the most overshadowed people see blake griffans highlights and get caught up in the moment and fail to realize they were not turning it around mainly because of him while eric gordon was having a hell of a season avg 24ppg 3rpg and almost 5apg so who really is there all star they have lost 13 out of there last 17 games with him out, if healthy they could of been in the hunt to make the playoffs this season and in my opinion i think he is there most valuable and there best player, dont get me wrong blkae is a beast but until his game is more polished id have to say eric gordon is there best player

Meditated StatesParticipantI been saying for the last few seasons that he needed to be the focus of the Clippers O. He is one of the best defenders at the pg/sg spot.

marcusfizer21ParticipantI love his game… He’s been having a phenomenal season. It’s unfortunate to see him injured through the All-Star break… I think he’s coming back soon… Griffin may provide highlights but EJ provides clutch moments… He’s going to be part of the future for the Clips from here on out

The lake show2Clippers were bad when he played too. They still can’t defend. Blake didn’t play last year and the Clippers were bad

LazarusMunozParticipantthe clippers have serious issues on the defensive end…it dosent matter what personal they bring in until they shore up there perimeter and interior defense….EJ’s was by far the teams best perimeter defender and bringing in Mo WIlliams actually isnt probably an upgrade on defense….Del Negro’s sole job from this point out should be improving this team defensively
BTW…Blake is getting abused by pf’s more and more frequently as of late…he has the motor and the strength to improve, but with his short arms he’s always gonna have problems with the Lamarcus Aldridge’s of the NBA

IndianaBasketballParticipantGordon will always be underrated and the reason is because he doesn’t pound his chest after dunks, put up signs with his fingers after he makes three-pointers or draw attention to himself.
He just plays basketball. He doesn’t care about hype or attention. He’s a top ten two guard in the NBA though and is an underrated defender.
