SwatLakeCityParticipantThey’re just being supportive of their team and when someone that was a savior to your team and very much to the city just leaves like Lebron did, it hurts. Now I don’t agree with some of things that Cleveland fans did to show their disapproval to Lebron, but I do agree with their reasons if they are what I think they are. No one there thought he would leave. They thought he would be loyal and stay. He didn’t give any indication that he would leave until the day of "The Decision." And nor did he thank the fans or the owner for supporting him or explain why he chose to leave to go to the Heat. I understand why he did it, I just don’t like the way he did it. I really think that that was the message that Cleveland fans were trying to send to Lebron.
Now even though he did leave like this, the Cleveland organization should still raise his jersey into the rafters as a memory and a tribute to the man that was. They need to forgive and forget. I really hope Cleveland takes a future star soon, they need that savior again to help them forget Lebron and hopefully forgive him too.

torontoraptors10ParticipantYou Cleveland fans are something else. Stoudemire, McGrady, Carter and Bosh left Toronto and you don’t see us doing that kind of stuff!

RickyRubio9Participantlmao.
Vince, McGrady, and Bosh?
Dude. This is LeBron Freaking James, Arguably the best player in the World and a walking triple double from the state itself! A High-School Phenom, Multiple MVP’s and All-Star Nods, and self proclaimed King.
Seriously, this guy took his team to the Finals and best record in the NBA multiple times.
McGrady was good, but he never did any of that.
Nor did Bosh or Carter.0 - Posted on: Fri, 12/17/2010 - 5:09pm #460542

Toronto16ParticipantI think Toronto fans had more of an emotional attachment to Vince than Cleveland did to Lebron. I mean, Vince MADE basketball in Toronto, put it on the map. And unlike Lebron, he actually RE-SIGNED! What’s worse, he demanded a trade, than tanked in his latter days as a Raptor. Vince in his younger days was a much more exciting player than James.

torontoraptors10ParticipantRickyRubio….
Did you see the number’s VC was putting up? Not to mention you do realize T-Mac averaged 32ppg after he LEFT Toronto? Imagine how amazing we would have been. If that team faced Cleveland’s eastern finals team, Toronto would have DESTROYED Cleveland.
IlPerez
I have to disagree with you. VC put Toronto on the map, not to mention Canada basketball. VC-Tmac combo would have been amazing they stuck it out.
