European BallerParticipantThe Miami Heat international scout has been watching the recent games of Olympiacos point guard Vassilis Spanoulis. The Heat are said to want to try to secure a buyout of Spanoulis’ contract so they can sign him to be their starting point guard. However, Spanoulis has a huge buyou and huge salary demands.
Here is a Spanoulis clip that shows him playing back during the very beginning of this season.

doubledribblerParticipantDo you really think he would come back? He didn’t leave Houston on the best of terms. I am sure a guaranteed starting job would be nice, but you would really have to prepare yourself for a big mess. One…he would be coming over in the middle of the season if he came this year. Two…Miami could only give him the minimum. Three…if he came over and didn’t play well or the team had issues he would likely get a ton of criticism. Four…isn’t there an NBA team that still has his rights? I want to say the Spurs have his rights and I doubt they just hand him over, especially with Miami not having anything they would likely want except for maybe James Jones.

mikeyvthedonParticipantMy friend, to embed a video, you switch to plain text editor (bottom of this box you type into) and than copy the embed code from youtube. You should see something that says embed and you click on that and it should have a code you can just copy and paste (or you can write it out yourself, whatever floats your boat). I have heard of the skills of Vasilis Spanoulis, and I do think he has the ability to play in the NBA, but I do not think he will be a mid season addition. Also, does he want to come back to the NBA? Doubledribbler made some good points. Well, glad you shared that with us, even though you think we are all racists. I honestly would be happy to know your thoughts on what Spanoulis would bring to the NBA and how he would do. I have said all along that I would like your insight into these players rather than just lashing out at us for not giving them enough respect.

McDunkinWhy dont you just change your name to Greek Baller?
There are so many things wrong with this.
Most people post links to the site they got the info from, but not you, you post a video of what im guessing is Spanoulis in his bearded glory
Its rare that a player in the first year of a 3-year 13,200,000 euro contract leaves to give the nba another shot and play out of position
The 2006 World Championships are over…let it go
