    Ea sports announced this year that they are not releasing a basketball title at all.  Is it an end of a dominant era for ea sports.  Nba Live used to be the best game out then 2k started advancing the way basketball games were made.  Then Ea sports gives up on their college title.  I can’t believe this I have been purchasing their college basketball game since it was march madness.  I dont think they will be able to recover from their no show because their failing to improve a game for so many years and just sticking to what works has lost alot of fans.  Is this just the beginning for Ea sports will some other company come out with a football game that outshines madden and ncaa football.  I mean if you pay close attention to the games they only make changes to commentary or make a stupid change like take away the speed burst.  What if 2k gets into the football market and improves football games like they did with basketball it might be the end of a long dynasty for  Ea sports.

    I own every NBA Live from 02 – 10… It sucks to see them go but 2k11 is just the ish.

    I don’t think anybody will touch Madden, but yea… 2K has put NBA Live out of business.

    Yeah, madden is an icon in the gaming world. It won’t go away. Hopefully EA sticks to that and NCAA Football. Let 2k take the NBA and college b-ball games (which I’m really missing). More time to make each game better.

     LIVE is completely obsolete… With NBA 2k11 (not to mention the GOAT as the cover) I am not sure if they could ever top that… 2K putting MJ on the cover was the knockout punch…LOL

     I thought EA sports bought the rights to be the only company to make football games???? An yes that college hoops 2K series was a beast, pleeeeeaaaase bring it back!!!!!!

    anyone else on 2k11 its very hard to beat a good team say the lakers at home its like the computer doesnt want the good teams to lose i was playing the other night agaisnt a buddy of mine and wouldnt even gurad dirk n and he wouldnt make a shot and he was making 3s with al jefferson little crazy

    The only flaw I find in 2K11 is Clark Kellogg’s broadcasting… He sucks… Sorry Kellogg fans

    There are a few flaws in 2K11.

    1. Too much cheese. Those pre-animated spin/hop step dunks and layups are unfair. People online are starting to do them every play. I played against a dude online who did it like 100 times and I couldn’t stop it. It’s like once you get to a certain area in the paint, it doesn’t matter how many defenders are in the paint… You can do that spin dunk and score every time.

    2. The gameplay. It’s like everything is delayed. In order to speed burst, you have to push it at the right time or else they won’t do it. You have to move the controller in a certain way to do stuff. After catching the ball, the player won’t shoot unless you push the button literally at the right time. For example during cutting to the basket or spotting up for a jumpshot. I’ve had players cutting to the basket and they’ll catch it, but not shoot… Instead just keep running towards the baseline. Or they’ll catch it wide open for three and not shoot the ball. It’s crazy.

    3. Too slow. The game is too slow, unless you turn up the speed, which you can’t do online.
