CodySLCParticipantThe Jazz beat the Heat last night thanks to a career high 46 my Paul Millsap. And they are about to beat the Magic in Orlando tonight behind a great night from Derron Williams. Two impressive wins on the road and back to back by the Jazz.

butidonthavemoneyHow so?
Last year Utah proved that they could beat any team in the NBA (except the Lakers).
When Utah executes they are unstoppable.

butidonthavemoneyHow are they lucky?
Why don’t you just answer the question?
Millsap has always been a beast with good range and Deron Williams has scored 30 points before.

CodySLCParticipantCall it lucky if you want, but 2 road wins against 2 of the top 3 teams in the East doesnt happen because you get lucky. Granted they did get a huge game outta Millsap against the Heat, but big games like that happen all the time. We didnt even have Williams for overtime. The Jazz will just keep getting better as the year progresses, and will have a 3 big man rotation that can be matched only by the Lakers once Memo comes back.

Michael.S.ParticipantI understand that you guys are Jazz fans and props to your team for getting the W’s. However, the Heat and Magic lost the games the Jazz didn’t win them.

sheltwon3ParticipantIt takes hard work and focus to get lucky like Utah has had. I think they have turned the corner and are playing together. That Miami game that could have easily lost but they kept trying. Sometimes if you stay fighting you land that lucky punch and win a fight you should have lost. That is life.

CodySLCParticipantMore like we came into Miami, came back from 22 down and beat them without our best player on the floor in o.t. And tonight in Orlando we can back from 17+ down and come out with the win.

I May Be WrongParticipantthey execute better than 28 teams in the league (the Lakers offense when everyone is sharing is something to watch)
Kudos to Jazz fans, these were QUALITY road wins that told you a lot about the Jazz not being an easy opponent and you guys have a reason to be happy.

llperezi didnt watch either game, but very impressive back to back wins, i dont give a damn how they won them. And im not a fan of calling wins luck unless there is a very particular play that effected the outcome that was either lucky like a half court bank shot or a ref screwing up a game deciding call. What utah did was keep…well, just read what sheltwon wrote.

Michael.S.ParticipantI know you never post about anything basketball related except for its about Utah. so yu are by-far one of the most bias people on the site.
I will explain this for you as best as I can
They are lucky because;
1. They were down double digits late in both games and normally you just aren’t getting back into a game like that against two of the best teams in the NBA, let alone win them
2. Heat game- Paul Milsapp hits 3 late threes. How many times as that happened before? 0. How many times will that happen again? 0. And these were all late in the game.
3. Miami benches their players up 8 WITH 40 SECONDS left. And Utah bull-shlts their way into OT.
4. Francisco Elson gets fouled on a shot he would have NEVER made late in OT with .4 seconds left. And he makes BOTH free throws.
5. This game would have never even been close if Miami didn’t make stupid coaching mistakes…A bunch of em.
6. Paul Millsaps putback to send the game into OT. Lucky bounce and poor boxing out from Miami.
Like I said the Heat and Magic lost these games, Utah didn’t win

Oh, I see. You are getting really defensive over your team. Don’t call me out just debate like a mature person, which your not doing. Maybe I am losing credibility, but at least I feel that I speak my mind and step out of the box at times to do so which few people do. Oh, and what kind of basketball credibiliy do you have? Gifs and Videos?

sheltwon3ParticipantCoaches are part of the team and sometimes you can win by playing harder and smarter. I remember when T Mac scored like 13 or so point in 35 seconds against a great Spurs teams. Losses like this happen. I think since Miami is involved, people are overblowing what happened. This is basketball where stuff like this happens from time to time. Celtics lost a Championship because they could not keep a lead. Teams will make runs and Miami did not play like they wanted to win for the whole48 plsu minutes but Utah did same with Orlando.

CodySLCParticipantReal luck would be Lebron and Bosh joining up with Wade in Miami. Regardless of what you think they got two wins in the standings. You would think two championship caliber teams would be able to close out a game after having such a big lead. The Jazz EARNED the wins by playing hard and not quiting, period.

SwatLakeCityParticipantJammin Lemon, you don’t know what you are talking about. Paul Millsap is a freakin Stud. Yes I admit those 3 threes were lucky but that missed 3 pointer from Miles that just "rolled" to Millsap so he could put it in and send the game to overtime. That was not luck, that was skill. That’s what Millsap is, a beast on the boards and he plays hard every night. When you play hard every night good things happen to you. Oh and another thing, Elson’s shot that could or could not have won the game could have actually gone in. This may surprise you but he is actually a good outside shooter. I have been impressed by his outside shot lately. And he has always been a good free throw shooter so to see him make both of them was no surprise. To prove it to you, he actually tried to purposely miss the second one, but it still went in. When that happens that is not luck that is skill. And another, the Magic and the Heat do not just let luck beat them. Those 2 teams are too good for that. I bet you that Jammin-Lemon still thinks that that last second 3-pointer that Sundiata Gaines made to beat the Cavs last year was still luck. Gees, what an idiot. Doesn’t realize hard work when it is staring him right in the face.
