When Memo comes back from injury, is a Millsap trade possible?

Seems doubtful, but they might have that line-up on the floor at times, I mean when Portland wanted Millsap he was undoutedly going to play some time at the 3 spot. Seems like Utah still has a lot of issues getting consistency from their wing players, more so offensively than d’ing up, but it is still an issue. But I think the last thing you suggested, which is having Mehmet come off the bench, will more than likely be the best alternative. Millsap may not be the quickest player a foot, but he is no slouch, and should not get blown by consistently when guarding SF’s. He is not an amazing outside shooter, but he has a pretty money mid range game he has worked on, and of course his toughness on the boards is always a great thing to have on the court. I think getting Mehmet back will make the Jazz just that much more versatile, and he always spreads the floor and tends to play out in the perimeter regardless, so it should not be a huge shake-up offensively. My biggest question is, what happened to Kirilenko? He is still a good player and all, but he was an All-Star his 3rd year in the league, and ever since 2007 his scoring has dipped to around 12 per game. He was always considered more of a defensive player, and an incredible shot blocker for an SF, but even that has dipped as time has passed. He was an All-Star at 22 years old, and just never really improved on that season.

Milsap at SF iI think would be horrible idea. jeffferson and memo are already weak defenders. Then you add Milsap as a SF. Those 3 on the court together would be bad idea. I think memo needs be a spark plug. sayoing Milsap at the 3 is like saying a one legged man would beat Usain Bolt.

Why would you trade someone that is posting career highs and having a breakout season. What your saying is since Millsap is playing well, maybe its a good idea to try to trade him. For what, what are you looking for. Usually players get traded for underachieving not overachieving. Okur can easily get minutes at PF-C if they limit Jefferson and Millsaps minutes to 32-mpg each. That would allow Okur to get 32-mpg each at PF-C which is more then enough time. It maybe better to only give him about 20-25 mpg as he eases into the lineup.

have all 3 man big rotation, then if they two of them need a rest they have Elson and Fesenko to play center and Ak47 can play the powerforward, and let Okur come off the bench to stretch the floor

But for what ever reason KOC thought lets get a freaking nother power forward to play next to boozer. With ak contract of the books this summer and if we had the money that booz left us instead of big al….. Millsap could be playing next to oden(when he is healthy) or better yet Marc Gasol.  and still have money to sign finally a wing player to run with d will

I agree that Millsap is a keeper.  Okur is too complacent with shooting from the perimeter all day and doesn’t go to the post enough, although he does do a good job on the boards.
