IndianaBasketballParticipantFirst, it was Jeff Pendergraph lost for the season with a torn ACL. Now, the reports are Elliot Williams has a patella injury and will miss the season.
Something isn’t right in Portland. Injuries are a part of the game, but this is crazy. I’ve never seen so many injuries, especially knee injuries on one team.

Mr.Knick 32ParticipantI remember one of my more unpopular post was when I said that Portland’s overall talent was overrated. People hated me for saying it.
There must be something there, maybe slippery practice courts? Alot of there injuries been leg/lower body injuries

IndianaBasketballParticipantOR maybe Portland’s team doctors and training staff just aren’t doing a good job diagnosing the players they draft. The reports are that Williams had a couple of knee injuries in college, but they were supposedly just bruises.
I mean, even Brandon Roy had plenty of knee injuries in high school and college.

mikeyvthedonParticipantMay I just ask what overall talent has to do with injury? Because honestly, see very little connection. Basketball players get hurt. It happens. Being hurt has nothing to do with your level of talent. It could effect it over time, but youth seems to be on the Blazers side.

Mr.Knick 32ParticipantOne of the reasons I put there was injuries. I should have explained that. My apologies.

bobbybParticipantTheir team is underrated not overrated. How many teams can have so many injuries and still be contenders?
