Mr.Knick 32ParticipantAmar’e’s not a HOF yet. If he can put a couple great seasons together in NY, he can be.

Im Your FatherParticipantPaul Pierce? Yes
Dirk? Yes
Steve nash? Yes
Melo? Probably, his career isn’t over yet so it’s hard to tell, but I’ll say yes.
A’mare? No, not at this point. Maybe if the Knicks get some other star free agents and they make a run at some titles.
Ray Ray? Yes.
Yao? No
Durant? Way too early to tell
Bosh? I’m going to go with no. But if Miami wins multiple titles and he starts playing well then maybe.
Pau Gasol? Probably

chavezParticipantwhat about these players: boozer, jamison, marion, billups, rip, ben wallace, juwan howard, bibby, baron davis, zach randolph, jermaine o’neal, peja, andre miller, arenas.
i believe most of these players will get some consideration, but few will make it in.

Im Your FatherParticipantI don’t know what to think about Yao. Would his success normally be enough to warrant a spot in the HOF? Probably not. But he is an international superstar, and has brought tons of fans to the league and I think that might be considered.

sheltwon3ParticipantPaul Pierce? Yes but I don’t see him as a first ballot right now
Dirk? yes, another big man that changes the game and put up number and he is international
Steve nash? Yes because he has two MVP and has helped carry a lot of teams
Melo? I think he will wind up in there but if his career ended today no
A’mare? Same with Melo, it is too early but the thing is if he plays well in New York, he will have to get in because New York influence people
Ray Ray? yeah but to be honest does he realy deserve it over some people they came before him and played better
Yao? NO unless he can play 5 more year injury free than maybe
Durant? technically it is too early but seriously unless something dramatic happens to him. he is getting in when his carreer is done. I think in another 8 years, he will be a lock
Bosh? no but maybe if Heat get 3 championship, he will
Pau Gasol? Yes, dude can do everything on the court and he has 2 and possibly 3 or 4 rings.

sheltwon3ParticipantElton Brand no because there has been better power forwards who are no in the Hall of fame. Popularity and team wins sometimes come in play and Brand has neither.

suddsParticipantThis is a contriversial topic for some…you have been warned lol….
Paul Pierce? maybe
Dirk? no
Steve nash? yes no doubt
Melo? not yet
A’mare? not yet
Ray Ray? no
Yao? not as a player
Durant? maybe someday
Bosh? nope(he screwed any chances joining Miami)
Pau Gasol? nope
So I assume we are talking current players:
For sure: Kobe, Lebron, Shaq, Duncan, Paul, Iverson
Maybe: Garnett, B. Wallace(someone from the pistons has to get in), DWade(see Bosh, little different, but are either of them going to put up the numbers now?)
Someday?(they have the talent): Rose, Wall, Griffin, Gay, Noah, Amare, Dwight, S.Curry, Ellis, Westbrook, T. Evans, Oden(time is on his side, or else he’d be below)
Would have(without injuries): T-Mac, Yao, Stackhouse?,
If by "the worm" you meant Rodman, then he’s for sure in. People just don’t like him, so it might be a second ballot kind of thing.

HitsterParticipantOf the players still playing in the NBA who have been drafted from 2003 or before as that was a deep draft year, if you assume their current career for HOF inclusion then I would say the following will get in :-
Shaq, KG, Tim Duncan, Kobe, Dirk Nowitzki, Jason Kidd, Steve Nash, Grant Hill, LeBron, Paul Pierce, Ray Allen, Yao
Grant Hill is an extremely popular player who will pick up a lot of votes and his current longivity will help his cause. Yao as such a global icon may swing it his way but it may not be during the first ballot.
Of the players who will progress to HOF then D-Wade, STAT, Melo, Pau Gasol and Chris Bosh are fairly obvious ones.
I’d same that someone from the Detroit era 2004-08 will have to go in maybe Billups or Big Ben.
T-Mac will be considered and may well get in on a popularity vote but his lack of play off success is a concern for me.
