Wow, this is a tough question for me. Here is my top 3. Whats weird is they were all first round games. I guess being a Suns fan, I don’t have too many favorite conference finals and nba finals moments. lol.

    3. Celtics-Bulls 2009

This was a 7 game series with 7 overtimes. The Bulls pushed the Celtics to the limit and all the clutch shots from both sides made this memorable.

    2. Mavs-Warriors 2007

Wow, what an exciting series. The thing that makes this one better is that the upset actually happened…and the Mavs let it happen! They could have pushed Golden State out of the playoffs but felt like they had a better chance to beat them than the other team. Also featured two of my favorite players at that time. Davis and Dirk.

    3 Suns-Lakers 2006

Obviously I am biased on this one. As a Suns fan, this was obviously my favorite. It was heartbreaking and exciting almost every game. Kobe played at his best with a mediocre team and almost single handily beat the great running Suns. The above two could be argued to be better but this was the one for me.

What are your favorite playoff memories?

This is easy and I’m not even being all biased here the Sixers vs. Raptors in 2001 was one of the greatest series I have ever saw in all of sports it had everything you could want. Iverson vs. Carter. 3 50 pt performances. Game 7 down one with 3 seconds left the ball in the hands of your superstar. I will never forget this series as long as I live it was the single most memorable series I have ever witnessed because of Iverson and Carter.

some of mine off the top of my head:

1993 first round vs phoneix suns
—————-lakers were the 8 seed and the suns were the best team in the league and had swept the lakers 5-0 in the regular season. It was supposed to be a cakewalk for the suns. Lakers go up 2-0 winning the first 2 in phoenix and everyone was going nuts. No 8 seed had ever beaten a 1 seed in nba history. The suns coach gaurantees victory and the suns deliver 2 wins in LA to tie the series at 2-2. Now game 5 and the suns have the momentum back. But lakers dont quit. It is a back and forth game all the way to the end. Byron Scott misses a 3 at the buzzer that would have won it. The suns pull it out in overtime. Amazing series.

1993 nba finals suns vs bulls
—————-best finals i have seen. Jordan and barkely in their primes. A triple overtime game. John Paxson nailing the game winning 3 in game 6 to seal it.

some other good ones were pacers/knicks in the 90’s, bulls/ celtics from 2009, lakers/kings in 2002,

You gotta say 2009 celts bulls,

My favorite is probably the 04 hornets heat series. I myself am a hornets fan and this series was an emotional rollercoaster. Anyone who was a hornets fan at the time loved watching B diddy and loved waiting to see the next time monster mash would go off. The series had a bunch of good games with big plays from both sides. I just remember (hopefully correctly) in game 7 Baron dueling with a rookie DWade down the stretch. Their score for score mentalities made it sort of like a mini Dominique vs. Bird. Awesome series.

    My personal Favs I seen

    Nets vs Celtics 2002

That series was beast. Back then, I was a Celtics fan. Game 2 was the best game of the series, The C’s were down like 10 the whole game and came back with 59 secs left.

    Nets vs Pacers 2004/2005

Reggie Miller in game 5. This man hit like 3 game tying shots. Other then that, that series was alright

    Knicks vs Nets 2003

The 1st NY series I went to. Game 3- I was there.

I loved the Cavs-Pistons series from 07 playoffs, LeBron was MAGICal and willed his team of scrubs past one of the best defensive teams of the current generation. Too bad the 07 Finals vs the Spurs didn’t turn out differently, oh well.

Did all of you guys forget the great Boston-LA Series in the 60′ and 80’s.

What about the Boston-Detriot Series late in the 80’s

Also the Bulls-Jazz series, where Micheal Jordan just amazed people.

@Tinajoe did anybody watch them videos?  That was only the half of it.  Iverson was the first player to ever put up 2 50 point games in one series and Vinsanity doing it was the first time there were 3 50 games point games in one series.  All the drama surrounding that series was so intense…And A.I. delivered big time after being awarded MVP.

And it all came down to one shot by Vinsanity…

That series was insane.  IT was 2 superstars in they’re prime who were both the "man" on their time going back and forth.  We will never see another series like that again because all the superstars wanna play together nobody wants to be the "man" anymore.

Nah my point about that series is the Celtics have a Big 3 and then some, the Celtics have a Big 3 and then some…

    Iverson had nobody

    Carter didn’t either

Both of them players put their teams on their back and carried them even a few 50 points games one came right before game 5 with the series 2-2 when Iverson just got his MVP trophy before the game.  So what does The Answer do?  He answers by putting his team on his back for another 50 point game and willed them to a win by sheer effort.

I have never saw 2 suparstars put their teams on their backs and carry there teams like that since then. Thats what makes that series so unique.

I’m not saying it’s the best ever but in terms of how unique it was, how competitive it was and all the circumstances surrounding it made it legendary.

Kings v Lakers 2002..  Bibby was cold blooded.. The Lakers fans reaction after Horry hit that 3 to win game 4 was unreal… Close series and the teams hated each other.. Both teams played GREAT basketball.. All the games where tight and heated.. Kobe & Shaq combo at their best… Great indivudal matchups..

1995-1996 Eastern Conference Finals – Bulls vs.  Magic

Jordan’s first full season out of retirement and the best season of basketball I’ve ever seen.  The Magic have established themselves as a dominant force in the East with Shaq and Penny and after a regular season of dominance this would be the Bulls first test.  The Bulls acquired Rodman specifically to deal with Shaq and the 210 lb Rodman took Shaq out of the game. The Bulls destroyed them, I don’t love this series bccause it was close, but rather the Bulls emphatically answering a lot of questions and sweeping a 60 win team with young Shaq in the playoffs.
